Strap on confusion

Hi I have just bought this strap on and was after some clarification from those in the know as I can't find the answer on LH's advice pages.

http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=14011

Its our first strap on for pegging and I was worried about it being a tad too big for a beginner, after looking at the description it says that the dildo with it is a suction type. Am I correct in thinking that a flared base dildo would fit also or does it have to be a suction only?

If anybody has any suggestion for a dildo more suitable for a begginer then I would be grateful.

Cheers

This particular model (very pretty!) seems to come with three interchangeable O-rings. That means that you can buy just about any flared base dildo (maybe not monster huge ones, but that doesn't sound like what you want, anyway) and it will work with the harness, no need for suction cups

I'm a big fan of Tantus and Fun Factory dildos for strap on fun, they're beautiful quality. Here are five that are smaller than the big guy that comes with your harness:
Itty bitty: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=692
A little bigger: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=13884
And another: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=5208 (sold out, currently)
Bigger still (4.5" circumference): http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16828 (I've had my eye on this one, personally).
Another 4.5" circumference: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=20876

Hope this helps.

Sorry if this sounds a bit paronizing (its not meant like that!) have you read the reviews? they may help answer your questions but i agree Miss Nomer very pretty cock

MsGirth, yes I've read the reviews and some say its ideal for beginners (I presume thats what you mean, no mention of flared bases on the review) but I'm worried about the size of it, having tried a butt plug of a similar size. I also suffer from IBS which is another reason the size concerns me, things have to be just right.

Miss-Nomer thanks for taking so much time in researching your reply, i'm very grateful to you for the help/advice.

Cheers

I've had this set for a couple years and while its not the smallest dildo (six inches in length and an inch and a half in diameter) It is a fairly smooth ride with the hardest part being the first inch.Once the head is in I found it smooth and comfortable as it has a good amount of flexibility to it.

The set comes with a couple of O-rings in different sizes so ithe harness can be used with different dildos and the dildo that comes with it does work as a suction cup dildo too, though its not the best suction cup.

The harness and stockings look fantastic on and are great quality for what you're paying so even if you decide to opt for a different dildo later on (I replaced the dildo after a while as its jelly so it has a limited lifespan) its a great harness set to have.

I've used a few Tantus toys with it and find they work well in it, fit well.I'd say the Tantus silk would be best for a begginer and with its smooth texture would be less likely to irritate/cause an ibs flare up.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the help RedCheeks, i'm gonna take your advice regards the Tantus silk.
