I’m sure we’re not alone in realising that after 25 years of (very happy) marriage, the impact of careers and raising a family can affect sex. Fortunately, we are entering a time when we can be more open and liberated, kids have gone to Uni and life is less hectic.
Recently, we’ve been talking about the things we’d like to explore in our erotic life together and we both realised that an element of exhibitionism and voyeurism seem to be appealing. Nothing too extreme, but the thought of being watched and watching turns us on.
Does anyone have experience of this in so far as being in that position? How did you get to that point and what was it like?

All were at late even/night where there was less likely to be people about but still the riskiness was there thinking someone could have seen something
That’s a really interesting question @Leyla . For us, we know that we get turned in at seeing others having a good time. There’s something really wonderful about two people who know each other intimately, enjoying themselves. It seems a pity to hide that away. So we watch some porn together but feel like we’d like to watch it live as it were. Maybe the taboo side is a bit of a turn on, but we feel that hiding from what gives such joy is a shame.
To be clear, we’d never become active with others, merely watch or be watched. We’ve considered visiting a club but that might be a bit of a shock!
I’m sure thats something that many feel! I also believe that the joy of love and sex is too wonderful to be hidden away, but still too intimate to be fully public. Of course you also have to see the other side of the coin, you should be aware that some people may be weirded out or feel disgusted, or even worse, assaulted by seing two people in public having sex.
But of course this is just about the consentual watching side, which, as I believe, is a wonderful thing.
I’m always for trying new things, so maybe, with enough mental preperation and everyone agreeing, you could have a lot of fun in clubs that are open about that kind of stuff!
This is something the my OH and myself have discussed and is something we are interested in exploring. We have already made a plan of how we would ease ourselves into this new world in quite a lot of depth.
As a way of dipping our toes into this world we are planning to go to an adult club in the first instance, just for the experience and not to join in. We would get high from other people’s activities then go back to our hotel and our own privacy.

There’s a popular misconception that everyone that goes is doing so to meet and play with others, whereas there are lots of couples that go just to enjoy watching and being watched, and indulging in sexual activities in close proximity to others, with no actual contact with anyone else.
It’s the safest way to indulge in voyeurism and exhibitionism, given you’re in a protected environment. Trying to achieve the same in public runs the risk of breaking laws, has safety implications and removes the level of privacy a club offers, in terms of people not being able to record you in any way, shape or form.
Online is an option of course but is worlds apart from the real thing.
