Hey HNT, The best clothing to suck up water would be cotton or terry towelling, if it's a case of just simply cleaning up the aftermath then a cotton towel would be ideal. If you actually want to wear clothing and retain fluid then I suggest looking at cotton t shirts or terry towelling clothes. Another place to look is most fitness clothing has been created to hold sweat and fluid so it may be worth having a look at some brands like under armour and other popular sports brands.
The main question is without delving too deep, what is the main purpose of the product your looking for?

Well...(Clears throwt) the main purpose would be to 'wet' my partner whilst she wears the item without it going all over the carpet etc
A lot of fashion items are made using this material now, so you're not just limited to wetsuits, either!
Thanks for the reply. Never thought of that! Does that material absorb retain water well?
I have to be honest and say I'm not sure from personal use. I don't have any clothing made from it BUT the idea behind scuba material for diving is to retain a few mm of water next to your skin for insulation. It's designed to be somewhere between a sponge, and a clothing material.
I'd definitely recommend looking into getting a PVC sheet too, for added safety. Or a super-absorbant disposable mattress topper (designed predominantly for diaper training / kids who bed-wet) as this is literally fit for perpose :)
As jess has said I think it would be good if you get a pvc sheet but scuba gear and bamboo cotton will
Be ideal. You can also get specialist bodysuits and other items such as hoods which will retain any fluids from Water sport activities.so it may be worth looking at the bondage clothing on The main site, something like this https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=33156 in the shower or with a pvc sheet may work for what you want to do.
