What is soooo great about "toner balls", and does it really work?

Hi guys(and girls)

i have been looking for son toner balls and I was wondering if they really do work and with ones are your favorites?:)

Yup they do, my favourite is the Lelo Luna Noir ones, though they also do a multi weighted set more suitable for beginners. If you search in the bar up top you'll find lots of threads on this subject :)

Yes, they really do work! I was a total newbie to toner balls and kegel exercises until recently when I bought some from Lovehoney. I got these 3 sets to sort of test the water:

If you've never given birth before, I'd suggest skipping the light and heavy beginner balls and simply go for one of the intermediate sets. Even the Swoon set of balls were too light for me and they were the heaviest ones I got! I ended up wearing them for my Zumba, Belly dance and Pilates classes for that extra bit of a workout.

At the end of the week, both my boyfriend and I could feel the difference. He said I felt tighter and I did feel more in control of my kegel muscles.

If I could do over my purchases, I'd probably get these sets as someone new to kegel balls:

I love how they are progressive so even though they seem pricey, they'll see you through a good long while! If you just want a cheaper set for dipping your toe in, I'd recommend these:

These are about the right size and height for a beginner, I'd think. :) And really affordable too!

I've personally struggled finding a set i like. i have 3 sets, the basics ones in the 3 for £10, way too large and light, I also have the tracey cox set of a single ball and a double ball but again, to large, i actually cant get the doube fully in and i got the single stuck and nearly broke the removal cord getting it out. I then made the mistake of buying a none stringed set, and they were a lot smaller than i was expecting, so third strike, I've given up.

As well as helping with a tighter set of vaginal muscles and stronger orgasms they help with stress incontinence too. I don't have it but am paranoid about getting it hence trying to find a good set of balls.

VA - the string on the Tracey Cox set is very stretchy but I've NEVER heard of it breaking. I'm small down there and used mine for a year at least without incident, even though I had to pull hard to get it out. Given your extra requirements, you might prefer the a non-ball exerciser. There are a couple on this page. http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/sex-toys/love-eggs-jiggle-balls/kegel-exercisers-sets/ If you do decide to try kegel balls again, try some with a loop rather than a string. I find them much easier to remove. Seems to be better balanced or something.

Kassandra - they absolutely do work. If you wear them regularly and you don't feel any effects, get a heavier and/or smaller set. I didn't notice all that much until I got a pair which was heavy enough for me. But after a couple of weeks of using them regularly, I found my orgasms were much more intense. The clenching was particularly noticeable. :-) My heavy-weight beasts were discontinued though so I can't point you to them.

My advice to those who haven't given birth goes against the grain. Rather than starting with a 'beginner' set, I think it makes more sense to start somewhere in the middle or with a multi-weight collection like Je Joue's Ami. Lelo's Luna, Mini, and Noirs are all highly recommend by many people. Maybe the Luna if you've given birth and the Mini if you haven't. A too light/large pair doesn't have much use other than entertainment, but you can always work your way up to a pair that's a bit too much to start with. That's my thinking at least. I only keep my starting sets around for comparison for threads and reviews.

I was very sceptical before I used them, but they definitely do work. I have a few sets, but my absolute favourites are http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=30892. They're a little pricier than some, but you can adjust the weight and they're great quality.

I feel that I have more control of my pelvic floor muscles and my OH says he feels a difference. I think that shows they're worth getting as I'm only in my early 20s and I've never had kids.

I use the LELO Noir for day to day use. They feel pleasant and are great quality as you'd expect from LELO. I also have the fifty shades of grey metal ones which I love as they're the only ones that give me a real challenge - I only managed to keep them in for 5 mins the first time I used them! I also tried the swoon ones but I hated those. Too big, too light and had a kind of gritty texture that made them uncomfortable to insert. Go for LELO or fifty shades!

I agree with Ruby Red Slippers - I started with the Swoon balls and found them uncomfortable, there's no comparison between them and the Fifty Shades set.

So which ones would people suggest for my wife who's 30+ and had two children, would love her to be able to give me a bit more of a squeeze!

Quiet ones are worse! wrote:

I would recommend the LELO Noir ones. They're light enough for beginers but still work once you're more advanced. They also feel nice when they're in. They come in beautiful packaging and you can tell that they're a luxury set so I'm sure your wife would love them.

Thanks for the tip, although the text seems to say, for girls who've not had children, may have to give customer services a ring.

Thank you so Much for the help, guys! Your the best:D

They are a life saver for my foofoo :p

After having my first son (natural birth), my pelvic floor had packed in :( So I got a set of kegal balls, I used them 15 mins in the morn and afternoon and after 2 weeks, I could really feel the difference

I love my Tracey Cox ones! I don't need them really but after having a really bad cough for almost too months it helped a lot! Back to norm now :)

I just purchased http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=232

Waiting for them to arrive. I have also done some research on the lelo ones. I have started from the basic ones for beginners. Will let you know how things go :)

Any recomendations on what I should get after using the above for a while, will be appreciated as am very new to kegal toners/balls etc

Ive ordered the 50 shades ones!

one question, when they are in am i supposed to excerise like tense and squeeze for 10 secs then rest for ten secs, then tense again. Or are you supposed to put them in and constantly gently squeeze the muscles for as long as you can?

ive heard people say to try and keep them in as long as you can so you feel the muscles aching but other than that im clueless! People say they keep them in for hours and do housework or walk, so are you constantly doing the excersises while they are in, or ignore them and then every so often do some squeezing?

Also the 50 shades ones have removable balls so you can change the weight. If a ball fell out of the holder whilst in use, would it be difficult to remove? Im a bit anxious that one would fall out and get lost! I dont need a trip to a and e!

Read all the comments, what are they and what do they do? Can I have a beginners/ idiot proof description please.

Going to keep an eye on this thread due to beng a total beginner

Ok first go with the 50 shades ones. The instructions recommended 15 minutes for a start but i wore them for almost half an hour while i did tidying and hoovering. Im not sure if i was using them right, as when i put the second ball in it was only just in, but when i felt it about 5 mins later only the end of the cord was out so it seems they slipped in further!

I think the two lightest ones were too light because i couldnt really feel them much unless i bent over or stretched my legs wide. I tried to keep consciously squeezing and holding just incase simply wearing them wasnt enough. I read online that one way of getting them out is coughing or sneezing. Well i sneezed accidently and they didnt budge at all!

Now having a bath and might try them again later but use the two middle weighted ones and see if that makes a difference!

Ive never had kids and am mid twenties so i dont know if that affects it in terms of weight/size. These already feel much better and sexier than my old balls which were big and light! I can tell i will get my moneys worth out of these ones!

If you have an IUD be wary of ben w balls /toner balls with strings attached. Why on earth I did not think about this prior to ordering mine I do not know.

I am learning all sorts, been speaking with some one who has them in every day, barring their premenstal cycle, that she has very strong PF muscles...omg i bet sh ehas too ![](upload://jokG3WtlbVccWAgGjeuPxY6tITM.gif)
