Yes Chester Bennington is going to be a big loss . He had such a great singing voice with range as well . The only Tech Rock Band I ever got into

For me, it would be Adele, she got a very nice voice on her. Got two of her CD's. Love them both, always playing both of them.

My music taste has changed . A lot of it is becasue of what is played at the clubs/caberet bars that we frequent at weekends. So out has had to go my rock music , trance,.rave etc .

In comes Northern Soul ( my third choice music in the past if honest) which is gong through a big renaisance in our area with many Northern Soul specialists nights .

I have to say I am a veteran of Wigan Casino but only ever been once before it closed down and that was because my friend miss took it for a rock club! I kid you not ! He was so happy about himeslf at the fact as a couple of 16 year olds at the time that he blagged us in, to find that they dont have a bar as such. Only Cola was served as they didnt have a late licence. The dance always intrigued me as it was noticeable that many guys danced to the music and wasnt the normal female dominated scene. The best dancers showed off in the middle of the dance floor like masquerading peacocks as someone else decribed it.

Anyway after 30 years i have re taught myself some of the steps frpom watching vieos and others and now very confident when I go on the dasnce floor . The Mrs is another strory and will leave that one ! This is probably my mid life crisis and role backs the years and thoroughly enjoying it .I have got 2 weeks to sharpen up my back drops before the nexr "big" night.

Keep the Faith .

Been listening to a lot of Bastille recently, never realised how many quality tunes they had

My all-time jam is Screamager by Therapy? It reminds me of teenage trips to Bristol Bierkeller (happy memories).

But lately I have been listening to Champagne Coast by Blood Orange a lot.

I always have music playing in the house I love to dance. Queen is my fav. but I listen to a wide variety from ELO to Kodaline with Exile, Sweet, Sad Cafe, Rod Stewart, Terry Jacks, Fleetwood Mac and Buddy Holly, in between !

Some other tunes I listen to are REM. Got 2 of their CD's, love them. Another group would be Toto, I like their music.

Rise against the lyrics are superb, quite political but also hate, war, sexuality, animal testing, refugees etc
