I agree with @batjamboree . Stick to something plain (say black cotton hipsters) for starters. I’ve been wearing women’s panties full-time for years now and find them so much more soft and comfortable than mens underwear, which is as good an excuse to wear them as any.

A couple of months ago not long after my 72nd birthday.
As part of my my increasing feminisation I started wearing a camel-toe gaff covering my genitals. Men’s underwear, with the usual pouch at the front, is too loose to hold the gaff in place so I now wear women’s knickers instead.
At first it was just because they did the job I needed but I quickly found myself buying prettier lacier versions and now I wear proper lingerie rather than just plain knickers.

I was 19 years old and I think it coincided with the first time I started buying top shelf magazines and I think I wanted to look like the girls in stockings and suspenders and panties and a bra. I stopped dressing when I got married. Thinking back it was around my early twenties and, like most kinks, began as a bit of a laugh with a GF.

If we’re talking about regularly, it would have been aged about 20-21 when I decided women’s tights would be a good thing to wear for warmth under ski pants, rathwr than thermals which I found were always a bit baggy and cumbersome.

For me it was about a year ago. It’s something that I had been thinking about and appealed for some time before that but had never acted on it. What partly encouraged me to do so was when I joined this forum.
Reading the contributions of others with the same interests set me thinking why not embrace something that will give me pleasure and that, after all, life is to be enjoyed as much as possible.
I started off quite modestly, just wearing a variety of female underwear, thongs, panties etc but in the process of my lingerie explorations, I have since widened my interests and now have a selection of suspenders, stockings, bodies, babydolls etc. I guess that this was inevitable given that there is such a wide range of exciting stuff out there! My collection is nowhere near as extensive as some on here but nevertheless provides much pleasure and stimulation.
I wouldn’t describe myself as a cross dresser, not that there is anything wrong in being so, just someone who gets much pleasure from wearing a variety of exciting items of female lingerie. I live on my own and so luckily don’t have the concern about whether a partner approves.

I had sisters but it never crossed my mind
When I was late teens I started earning enough and had some independence and I’d buy men’s magazines
I started to be fascinated with the stockings and suspenders etc and somehow maybe wanted to look like them
That’s where I took the first trip to a local department store and bought my first set of stockings bra and panties
