winter blues

Anyone like me suffering from the winter blues atm?

Im completely fed up, fed up of going to bed tired n waking up the same :(

Any tips/advice to help more than welcome?!

Roll on summer!

Yep, totally fed up with winter and the cold weather, I've been eating healthier and doing exericise but still keeping getting stupid little colds. I'm so eager for spring

No tips, but just wanted you to know you're not alone, hopefully someone will have an idea that will perk us up.

x

absolutely! im freezing I cant get warm like ever. I have no desire to go out to walk the dogs or even go to the shop!

Sod it all I just want to curl up with a warm cuppa and do naff all.

Thanks Ladys, exercise definitely helps im a very active person having horses n thats my job so I cant really get any more active but still feeling low, moody, n not myself x

Perhaps some clever lovehoney lover will suggest somemagic x

Sex always helps!

Lumie are a manufacturer of specialist theraputic lamps/light boxes for the treatment of Seasonal Affective Disorder. It should be noted it is more of an adjunctive therapy as presently there is little or no evidence of long-term benefit.

This, basically a timed lamp that recreates a sunrise in your room. Something as simple as not waking up to the dark and gloom can help massively with your mood first thing and set you up for the day.

Oh yes ive heard of these, do u think they really make a difference.?

They do for me personally. Dont think I would get out of bed for 3 months if I didnt have it lol

Its really cold where I am, Our house is in the bottom of a valley, just been forcasted of a cold weather front coming in, and because the house is high up in the area but very low down geographically. OMG House is freezing!

But no worries I have my fuzzy socks on! Roll on spring!

I've been freezing for weeks now and I'm absolutely sick of it. Our house is so cold, it's miserable :(

Can't wait for spring to arrive.

I got a SAD lamp at the start of winter, and while I forget to use it everyday, I have found it a great help as normally I experience pretty bad SAD where I am just unable to cope during winter at all.

Infa red lamps are good! As is Vitamin E as your body does not produce it when there is no sun

Some are pretty pricey arent they. ? Might have to wait got my bf bday pressie to get yet lol x

Sassy you on about an infa red lamp

if so, you can get one for about £20, its small, place on a table then you have the taller ones. (you can just use a red bulb) does the same thing, as its the red color that does the work (very good for the physical body)

I've been told Vit D tablet's are a must in the UK as most people are Vit D low due to the lack of sun in the UK. A few friends of mine had their levels checked recently and found to have dangerous low Vit D levels which was making them sad as well as hard to lose weight.

I soo need to get back on the vitamins and cod liver oil
