Hey guys, so I am away from wifi most of the day everyday and just use 3G or 4G on my phone and previously could use the love honey forum hassle free (could never view rest of site though due to age restrictions with O2), but anyway a few weeks back the forum showed up funny on my phone but it rectified pretty quickly and seemed to just be a glitch but a couple of weeks ago it happened again and still hasn't fixed. It appears on the screen as just blue typing on a plain white background and while I can still use it, it's much harder to navigate due to it being like one big continuous list with no pictures or pretty background or even proper layout. When I'm home and back on wifi however it shows up properly.
So I'm just wondering has anyone else noticed this or have any ideas on how to fix it?
This has happened to me a few times. I don't think it's an issue from the phone side. A few weeks ago was that last. Before that was when lovehoney was doing loads of work on the website.
This happened to me quite a bit, it's just the basic form after the website coding (or something like that, I should pay more attention when learning about this stuff). Sometimes it happens on wifi but most of the time on 3G/4G, maybe you don't have enough data or it's too much for it to load on your service? You aren't alone in this, technology can be a pain sometimes!
Are other sites working such as porn and gambling sites? If not you have got restrited access as you have not told them the person using the phone is over 18. If you contact your network provider and say you are over 18 they will unblock it for you. Hope it helps

It's not that, the forum doesn't come up blocked with restricted access, I've always been able to use that, the rest of the site if I try to get on however is blocked but I'm not bothered about that tbh. So it works but just not properly at the minute.
Tried what you said Sub but it's still not working properly. I'll prob just have to accept it's never going to be that same again and get used to it. :/
If you have a tablet/Ipad, you can use your phone as a WiFi hotspot(if it has that feature), then see if the site works correctly on the tablet, if it does it's an issue with the phone.
You could also factory reset the phone but DON'T do this if you're in any way unsure.
Mine occasionally comes up just like the photo Rachel posted - don't mess around with your phone because nothing is wrong with it :) I've found closing it and opening when on wifi again sorts it out at least for a while :)
This is what happens when the stylesheet doesn't load, basically you haven't got a strong enough signal to download it fast enough and the phone loads the page without all the pretty styles. We try to make everything as fast and small as possible but unfortunately sometimes this happens.
Don't reset your phone as this wont fix it. The best thing to do is to load the site when you are on wifi and hopefully when you are on mobile data it will remember the styles and not try to download them again. It should only need to download them now and again.
Hi this is exactly what it looks like. It's fine when on wi fi and like this when on 3G/4G. At least I know there's nothing wrong with my phone now! It unfortunately never remembers the styles though and always re-downloads the page when I open it up again on 3G. It used to always be ok on 3G but I have noticed that my 3G has gotten really really slow recently so that's probably the problem. I have kinda got used to it now so it's not so much of a pain anymore, it's just not as pretty haha! :/
