Advice needed about cock rings.

Hello everyone,

Never posted anything here before, so bear with me!

I recently bought the spartacus stretch cock ring set to help me with trouble I've been having maintaing erections. They certainly help! And I'm glad I bought them. I've been testing them out before I see my girlfriend so there are no problems when the time comes to us them properly.

However, I seem to have gone from one problem to a new one instead. The rings help me maintain the erection and make it bigger, but I've found the extra blood makes me more sensitive and climax happens much quicker. I don't want to replace poor erections for ones that last only a minute or so!

Has anyone else experienced this? If you have, or even if not, any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated so I can work out what to do. I'd prefer not to use numbing cream/lube though.

Many thanks.

I don't get this problem and the only thing I can suggest is to try a looser one and see if that helps. You could also try cock and balls, or cock with no balls to see if switching makes a difference.

It will be more sensitive. The only thing I can think that would help is just building up your stamina, or trying out some male delay sprays or lubricants?

Hi E.I - just had a quick look on LH and the following links may be useful to you - hope this helps:) xx

Sorry to those who have read my posts about this before but one of the things I learned from my issues with ED is that when you are soft you have very little control over your orgasm and are far more liable to cum early - 'go off at half cock' if you like 8-)=

I personally found that cock rings not only helped with the erection but allowed me to last longer. However, I was using the LH 'Big Daddy' lasso type ring which is adjustable but less stretchy than the one-size-fits-all ones and this seemed to give just the right amount of restriction at the cost of being slightly uncomfortable which may have provided a brake on my pleasure and slowed me up.

Eventually, I decided to try pelvic floor exercises having read an Australian study that showed them to be at least as effective as Viagra in resolving ED. The plus side of this, and one that others have mentioned, is that not only do PF exercises give you harder, more reliable erections, they also give you more control over your orgasms.

This is excellent advice!

I also had ED, but have pretty much cracked it. The same as Gyrator, I used less stretchy cock rings (I used nitrile ones), but getting my pelvic floor strengthened was a far better solution.

The other thing for me was porn. If you suffer from ED and watch porn, google porn addiction and there's loads of advice and research.

Both of these things take time though and you could be looking at six months to get back to where you were.

Again at the risk of boring the regulars with this repetition, if you want to 'short circuit' the pelvic floor exercises you could use electrical stimulation to make it easier (pun only slightly intended)

I started off with a TensCare iTouch Sure which of course comes with an electrode intended for female use but it works for a bloke when put up the bum just fine. These days I use a much modified unit (which outputs rather more punch) with one solid metal butt plug electrode and a large area split tube electrode around the base of the penis. This gives a great deal of muscle contraction with very little skin sensation making quite prolonged, high effort exercise easily possible.

Having said that the original iTouch kit showed very significant improvements in a couple of weeks.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate the advice. The ED is an ongoing thing going backwards and forwards to the hospital etc. but is getting sorted. The ring was a temporary thing to help in the meantime.

Any extra comments on the increased sensation problem are still appreciated :)

Thanks!

I was sent this as a tester, and it proper works! It does come with its own problems though, in that if you use a lot you can't actually feel a thing

Personally I bought a set from here a couple of years ago, more for curiosity value than anything.

I didn't seem to notice a difference in whether they made me last longer or not, or make me more sensitive, however I did buy a cheap set, not sure if that made a difference? Its not something I've gone back to use.

I would suggest the PF exercise would be a more natural way going forwards.

Just bumping up this post for Hampshire Hogg to read as he is very into his cock rings and might be able to add something.
