hi everyone, i had a great day yesterday, i spent a good hour having a bath a reshaving my legs back to super smooth condition. i moisturised all over and then got dressed up in one of my lovelly dresses with some black stockings and 3 inch heels. put some makeup on and felt great.
here is something i have never done before however, i was able to stay dressed up all night, usually i find i start getting uncomfortable after about five or six hours but i guess i'm now really getting used to the feel of my female clothing and find myself still feeling it on me even when its not (sounds strange but i can almost still feel my bra straps and hair on my face at times,which btw makes me really miss it all and want to get dressed up again again).
i also found myself not wanting to sit and watch the tv or be in the house last night, i had a few drinks and really just wanted the freedom to go out as i was, and feel free and happy, one day. :-)
Yeah! It works, doesn't it? I find that looking good makes you feel good, in a small but significant way. I spend most of my time slobbing around in my PJ's, so when I make the effort I can almost glow from the inside out!
I used to feel super sexy when wearing heels, but because I have a bad foot I cannot wear heels at all and haven't for 2 and a half years now! I miss them a lot. But something as simple as putting make-up on or just wearing some sexy undies can boost my confidence and make me feel better about myself. ^.^
I'll also note that I used to be an utter tomboy and never did anything girly. But then I discovered a fascination with gothic clothing and can look utterly amazing if and when I want to! It's like the other side of me.
i really feel for you on the heels matter, i have only been wearing them approximately a month and i cant imagine them ever going anywhere, i love them. hope your well avrielle. x
thanks for the advice, well and truely taken an board. my shoes do fit fine though and i dont get to walk much in them, not as much as id like to either i might add. glad to hear your ok avrielle. x

I am thinking about getting some heels, but I didn't realise that mens/womens sizes were different? For example, I'd always assumed that a women's size 8 would fit on a man who was size 8? Or is this not the case? :-s
avrielle will better advise you here i think my friend, buti read on it after buying my first pair of shoes that if you take your man shoe size and add 1 u will be closer to the mark, however i found in my experience( not extensive what so ever lol) that size3 9 were to big and thats what i take in a mans shoe. next pair i bought had another inch on the heel (3 inch total) and were size 8 and i found they fit like a glove, or shoe in this case. they are just open strappy shoes though so give plenty of strech anyway, i dare say it may be a different story when i buy closed toe and back shoes, maybe a size 9 required.
anyway i think if they hurt at all u may wish to rethink your sizing, (obvious point i know) but i think also that your size will differ from shop to shop anyway, ive heard women say this all my life so its definately going to be the same for men. good luck though and just go and buy some. you'll love them lots. x

The reason I worry about shoes so much is because mens sizes of heels are difficult to find and specialists are expensive. So many male crossdressers squeeze themselves in to womens sizes. Not good for your feet!
I do love getting into my glossy tights and silk/satin control panties and slipping on a pair of high heels.I like spending a lazy sunday morning dressed to thrill.
I often wear silk panties to bed ...love the sensation.
I am lucky to have a wife who loves seeing me dressed up and loves the feel of my bulge in stretch satin panties.
Does anybody else have any advice/experience of men buying women's shoe sizes? Are the sizes supposed to be roughly equal, or are they different scales?
Most of the shoes on LoveHoney go up to a size 8, but I am nearer a men's size 9, so there isn't really anything that would accommodate me (unless the sizings are for some reason different from men's shoes).

Great point about the 'ankle straps' - I've always thought these looks really sexy, but had never really considered the lack of 'escape route' if you start to fell!
I never ever worn heels before (can't wait!) so I don't really know how hard it will be, but thanks for the advice about getting some practice. I am not planning on wearing them 'out and about' - just in the secrecy of my own home (at least for now!), so at least I can get some practice that way.
Sounds like the sizes 8s on lovehoney won't be big enough :( It would be nice if they would get some bigger sizes in the future - but for now maybe I can look elsewhere, like Marisota.
