Amazon Locker

Hello all,

I don't know if you're aware, but certain purchases from Amazon can be delivered to an Amazon Locker, as long as the parcel isn't too big and there's one near you.

I'm lucky enough to have one near me, but I'd love to be able to use it for purchases from Lovehoney.

Amazon have a feeback survey, and one of the options in question 7 is 'Rent a Locker for personal deliveries'.

If you'd like to be able to rent a locker for Lovehoney deliveries, could you fill in this (short) survey? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/html-forms-controller/Locker_Feedback_Survey_UK/ref=locker_hp_survey

Hopefully, if enough people choose it, we'll be able to do so soon.

Ah, sorry. I did try searching for topics discussing it before, but I obviously didn't look hard enough.

Yeah. It has been discussed before...

Personally, I don't see much reason for it. The Lockers are few and far between. I don't have any near me. I'm sure you can set up a 'Safe Place' with Royal Mail who will put it in the safe place if you are not in to collect. I'm 'almost' sure that you can set one up so it is automatically delivered in that place without it being a second resort... It saves parents or housemates taking the parcel and wandering what it is...

It is free with tracked royal mail, which all Lh orders now are. But I'm not 100% sure if they will try to deliver before putting in the safe place, or if you can leave instructions with Royal Mail not to deliver and just leave in the safe place...

May have to phone or email Royal Mail call to find out about that...

Thanks for that. I'll certainly look into it.

There is a company I use called mybybox which is basically a locker like amazon supplies, its got a deal of £2 for the first 5 deliveries and it delivers overnight so the next morning you get your parcel, I'm really impressed with the service so I recommend it! http://my.bybox.com/

I use amazon lockers and they work really well.

I use it when I know I'm not gonna be home to accept delivery.

I wouldn't use them for Lovehoney purchases, I've always had them delivered to home, although I suppose for people in shared accomodation it could be a good idea. Althought there is none in Northern Ireland apparently so that wouldn't work for me anyway!
