i bought thoughs lepord print ones that were in the sale and they just dont fit theyre way too big for me and really hurt, so i was wandering if anyone knows any really good ones im think it might be the shape i dont know but any advice would be brilliant.
You can get them in different sizes..some are larger than others.........i think for new users the ones on the string are good so you can easily pull them out.........

Lol, I think the silicone ones should muffle any sound and the material will also warm to body temperature much quicker than others x

Dirt cheap, a little less chunky, and the egg-shape makes them slightly easier to insert than the ball-y balls. String is tatty as all hell, but at a fiver could be good to see if the shape/size is any better before you go for any of the silicone versions.

I also aquired these http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16893 recently and was quite dissapointed. The fact that they are quite securely linked together makes them longer and not so able to mould to my natural shape. I found the last ball to go in would rest too far down =S.

I have these eggs, they were very easy to insert and stayed put all day without making a sound!
I made the mistake of using them at the end of my period and when i came to wash them at the end of the day loads of blood was coming out of the hole where the string goes in. I can't seem to get them properly clean, so i won't be using them again.

yeah thats why i want silicone ideally cos i dont have a set period it can come on when ever i like the easy cleaness of it and the fact they mold to the body apparently. xxx

Well surely you might as well boil them or put them through the washing machine. If they're gonna get binned anyway, a couple of simple drastic measures can't be a bad idea. Unless you just doubt the quality and hygiene of them over all, which I could well agree with you on.
I've soaked them in Milton, but no matter how long i soak them for and how much i rinse them, gunk continues to come out of them!
If i hadn't been bleeding at the time i suppose natural vaginal juices would have gone in, but being clearish i wouldn't have realised! It makes me doubt the cleanliness of them.
I think i'll get some silicone ones.

Soak them in rubbing alcohol for a few days, gently aggitating the closed sealed container, they'll come clean. For most of us, we want "instantaneous" results, let the fluid and time work, I figure 2-4 days, then soak in clean water, rinsing the water and the balls......
