This makes me happy. I genuinely adore bondage, mostly because I’m pretty dominant in bed. Not much turns me on more than someone being submissive, and bondage lends itself really well to that control/submissive dynamic.
Re your questions, for me:
- a spreader while being pegged: I’m not really into anal stuff on me, so don’t think I’d ever be into being pegged. Had the odd finger and wasn’t particularly keen. I do LOVE being rimmed though. This is the main reason I want it, is that I think it’d be amazing for anal from top.
- ball gag: if she was the one using it, then absolutely it’s a huge turn on. Though personally I prefer seeing a girl wear an O gag (if that’s what they’re called), and the occasional ball gag. @Gareth for sure, lots that could go wrong. I think from what I’ve seen there’s places that hold classes in a non-sexual format to learn the basics. It wasn’t originally meant for sexual pleasure, from what I remember it was meant to be more of a meditative practice. Although honestly I don’t think I’d learn much if we ever went to a class I’d just laugh and get too flustered

If you’ve bought a spreader it’s great for doggy, especially if it has d rings to attach the wrist cuffs to the bar. If not get some carabiner clips that fit, clip them onto the bar somewhere around the middle and attach wrist cuffs to those. Very hot!
I was similar and had go to positions i loved to see my OH in but still wanted to mix it up so started to use my favs for different reasons in a session. Sometimes bound to the spreader bar like above for doggy, others for a spanking or just so I could sit in front for oral without her being able to move anywhere. I’ll also second adding ropes. Not a spreader but I do use a neck to thigh strap which pull my legs back and apart. Combined with a wedge cushion under my bum it puts me in the ideal position for her to go really deep with the strap on.

Love a leg spreader, though it helps to do some stretching first to avoid cramp. That’s a general bondage recommendation to be honest, nothing worse than getting cramp and having to be released urgently.
Obviously the stretching thing also applies to being pegged. I know a lot of men aren’t keen, and it can be painful at first but if you learn to relax it’s a great feeling.
Ball gags are great, I love the level of discomfort they provide. The only downside is the inevitable drooling, which can be a bit messy.
I’m willing to give most things a try, but I think I’d draw the line at dipping toes in. Either hers or mine.
Your exactly right. Similar to under bed restraints, just attached to the door. It’s loads of fun.
We also use a single restraint with a clip that swivels so you can turn the one restrained around if you want. Got the clip at Lowe’s or Home Depot. It was cheap and isn’t anything fancy.
Your right on the lighting too. Red is what we typically use, but you can get ultraviolet bulbs, or bulbs that flicker like large candles. There are lots of options to explore there. Like you said, I just changed the lights to red one night hoping for the best and she loved it.
