Brazillian Wax Questions

I've booked my first ever Brazilian wax for next Wednesday. I've had my bikini line waxed professionally once before, and just done it myself since. I booked with this place because I had a voucher, but the woman on the phone was a little rude and scary so I chickened out of asking all the questions I'd planned too :(
So, Brazilian is normally a "landing strip"? Will she ask me how much I want taken off, or is there just a normal amount?
Also, what if I want it shaped? Would the beautician normally ask, or just do it as a triangle or whatever is normal? I would like a heart shape, should I expect to pay more for this and how much? Or will she say heart shapes are not covered under my Brazilian wax voucher?! :(
I'm feeling very apprehensive......

I imagine they all do it different so best to ask the woman. Don't let her start until you know you're getting exactly what you want though

Tbh, u are better off ringing up again.. Brazilian is normally a landing strip and shapes are generally another form of specialised waxing.. Just say you spotted different shapes and was wondering if they do them :)

In the place I used to work they did all types of waxing except shapes... So it's better to ask, if she is rude again simply ask for another therapist x

Thanks :) I hate talking on the phone, I think I might just wait until I get there to ask... it's already payed for so if they don't do shapes I'll be getting whatever they do do anyways :)

My experience is salons usually have the standard Bikini, Brazilian and Hollywood which increase in price. However, what you get charged can vary depending on how much they have to remove and the amount of time it takes. When you go in there, just explain what you want and they should do it for you. It may be different due to the voucher but normally, they'll do what you want and charge you based on hair amount/time/whatever it's closest to

As the others have said- shapes normally cost a little bit more, as does a Hollywood (which is everything off). There's really no need to worry- I've been going for waxes for years and have gone to numerous places, and all of them have been fine. It is soooo much better than doing it yourself- trust me!

I would just explain that it is your first time, and if you want a strip- tell them how big you want it to be. Normally they just go with the width of what is already there (if you've been before) because they can see the difference in the hair growth. If you haven't been for a while and they can't tell, or if it's your first time- they tend to ask. Don't be afraid- after all, you're paying for the service (OK- you're using a voucher this time, but still).

You probably already know this- but be prepared that a Brazilian means ALL the way around! (If you haven't had this done before- I find that it doesn't hurt very much at all around there and it's very sexy to have it completely smooth ;) ).

Personally- I love Brazilians/Hollywoods, I don't mind the experience one bit, and I think the results are totally worth it. Enjoy!
