Can I wear a medical grade silicone butt plug while I have a nice relaxing bath for an hour?
Not aware of any reason why not other than it might get uncomfortable as lube will get washed away quickly (the water won't keep you lubricated, it's actually a terrible lubricant!) Silicone lube wound last better but you won't be able to use it with a silicone toy.
You would probably want to use a Glass or Metal plug instead of a silicone one.
There shouldn't be any problems. As Amy says, water based lube will run out quickly. Some silicone lube can be used with some silicone toys; normally it needs to be a platimum grade silicone toy with a high quality silicone lube which lists Dimethicone first on the ingredients list. But you should spot test it first.
As SlimeCoveredCow suggests, glass or metal will get around the lube issue, but obviously, you need to be comfortable with those materials.
