I'm asking because I prefer trunks but I find that without anything cupping your meat and two veg (as Austin Powers would say) things get a bit hot 'n sweaty down there.
At the same time I don't really like briefs because when you do have that cupping effect the material kinda chafes but doesn't if that makes sense either side of your balls (sorry), and I end up playing pocket snooker (on the sly of course!)
I imagine boxers would be like the trunks but what do you wear and find most comfortable?
Is there something between trunks and briefs?
I realise I'm probably looking for the holy grail of pants but would appreciate some ideas, and no elephant pants with the long trunk thanks! Lol 😁
Whilst probably not the sexiest undies to wear ,but perhaps most practical and comfy are boxers .I have plenty of them with black being the most prominent colour. I do have a pair of purple silk ones for bedroom play. I also have some nice series trunks as well and these are reserved for when we go out and perhaps sex is on the menu after.
I havetaken a pair off whilst out for a meal after going to the Gents and placed them in my wife's clutch bag. That got her quite hot under the collar !

It has to be briefs for me, I hate boxers, every thing just rattles around for a while then hangs down one leg. Never tried trunks, can say I know what they look like.
Trunks are like a mid way point between briefs and boxers. They give you more support but retain the shorts look of boxers .More sexy than boxers and briefs but like briefs they don't keep you undercarriage cool .
Never had trouble with hot tackle, just don't like it hanging out the bottom with boxers.
I started wearing boxers some years back when we were trying for a baby. They keep your undercarriage cooler which is ideal . Whilst I don't need then now for that purpose I have that many I use them for sleeping in and exercising in as well . Then I have enough to use as underwear and change them everyday . Like my black socks I sort of standardised on black boxers as well .

I agree boxers arn't the most sexiest but perhaps the most cumfiest and more practical .
I am beginning to think boxers are the male equivalent of ladies big pants.
My OH wears plain cotton boxers for work. When not at work, evenings, weekends etc he likes sheer, see through boxers, lace boxers or briefs, or wet look. Here are a few of his favourites....
I used to wear boxers but found the baggy fit to be uncomfortable and they would move around too much and need to be readjusted. I guess im not a fan of letting everything hang loose and flap around when I'm walking. I much prefer trunks as there is still room for your bits to move but it offers more support and I think they are the best looking as they are quite form fitting. You also don't need to worry about letting anything slip out.
My husband used to wear massive boxers but he loves novelty pants(as do I)so he opts for stretch fit boxers which are an in-between. Snug on his legs, roomy at the crotch and best of all no buttons!
For work I wear mostly cotton boxers, but for evening wear, if I'm not going commando, I'll wear Sukrew brand Jocks with either a pouch or peephole, also love the feel of mesh or lace boxers, whatever I wear, solong as my ass looks good in them, the OH is well pleased :))
All depends what im weating. Most times i wear the knitted boxers many different styles but theyre comfy as. Ill wear the loose fitted boxers in bed for more freedom 😛 When i wear tight jeans/trousers ill wear a thong. Always brings a laugh from the OH
