What do we all think about the announcement of Dakota Johnson to play Anastasia Steele & Charlie Hunnam to play Christian Grey!?

I like the choice for Anna, I was hoping though that Ian Somerholder (SP) got the part of Christian lol. x

Have to say that I'm quite dissapointed with the male choice. *Sigh* Really thought Ian would have got the part. And gawd I was looking forward to see him play it lol. xx

Hmmm, DJ seems a good choice for the female lead but I can not get my head around Charlie Hunnan?!!

Seems an odd choice of character when there are so many others who would fit more naturally into the role?

Awful choice! He'll always be the blonde schoolboy in queer as folk to me. Ian Somerhalder isn't right either, he's too schoolboyish/ whiney Boon from Lost. Strange how we all have different 'visions' isn't it ;)
Wonder if they'll make a film version of 'Bared to you'? That beat 50 shades hands down....
I have to disagree with you on Ian Somerhalder especially with the way he plays his part as Damon in TVD. I personally think he'd be fab at Mr.Grey.

OH MY FUCK! I was so hoping Matt Boner would be Grey. He's the face I put to the character when I read the books so I just know I'll be disappointed when the film is released. Either him, Smolderholder, Cavill, or Gosling would've been my choices. Not too fussed about Dakota playing Ana though.

Turns out that's her mum!
