It doesnāt work. 
Though Iām unlikely to use it even if it did.
I tried using the box to share a link on Facebook, and that didnāt make the Promoter badge pop either.
ETA: I do use the regular āinvite user to topicā function though, so if we could keep that and just ditch the Badge thatād be perfect.

I think I lost my badges for my picture reply? I think that might be because I deleted it/brought it back when we were checking the edit lock out.
Actually, Iām not sure anyone is getting badges for their #yourphotos? I wonder if Brenna excluded them? 
It turns out that now the #your-photos category is set to āaccount holdersā only the posts have become ineligible for Badges.
I was curious how hard some of the Gold badges are to get, and there doesnāt seem to be a way to keep count, but (if you want to be a big saddo ) you can download all of your posts and tickle them with a spreadsheet to find out a bit more.
The one I tried this for was Admired (Received 5 likes on 300 posts). Turns out Iām quite a way offā¦
To download your posts you go to Activity, and thereās a āDownload Allā button in there. Click it and youāll get a message from System a short time later with a link to a zipped file.

Gold badges? 
I canāt do most of the bronze. One thatās bugging me is reading a thread with 100 comments. Iāve painstakingly read a few and still canāt get the badge!
That one pops overnight, so you may find you have it in the morning.

I hope so. Iām usually reading stuff around midnight. I canāt give advise to save my life, so I donāt reply to important topics 
Iām sure you know by now that giving advice isnāt mandatory (or expected ). If youāre enjoying reading then thatās good enough for us.

@Ian_Chimp yeah, I understand that, I just feel guilty because I canāt join in with supportive messages, but thatās just a me thing. I like that in person, feeling guilty for only being able to listen. I get super awkward.

Itās not my forte either. But itās okay, thereās plenty of people who do excel at it. Thereās no need to feel any sense of guilt here at all. Youāre all good.

Hey @Purring-Pussy , youāre not alone in feeling a bit awkward in giving advice, I tend to only chip in when itās something Iāve either had experience of or actually know something about it. I sit back and read through lots of posts without joining in a lot of time

Special Offers and Top Sale Picks has just over 100 replies now. You could try slowly scrolling down through each of those posts again if you really want the Badge.

@Purring-Pussy @Ian_Chimp ā¦ I also struggled on that one.
I slowly worked my way down all the replies leaving an amount of time on each one but it still didnāt work. I did this for a couple of threads and still nothing and then suddenly it just popped and the badge was awarded. I donāt know what I did differently but I would try a range of threads and leave it open for a good amount of time after working your way down the responses.
