No, I don't think you quite understand...there is no segregation on here, no one group leads a thread while others are 'taken into consideration'...that's why there are threads on topics like anal and basically anything else you can think of already that are used by everyone regardless of their gender, sexuality or anything else.
It's in the forum rules to bump threads already in existence, rather than create new ones...and I think the point being made was that people wouldn't come to a random thread to ask advice when there are ones specific to what they want to ask about that according to the rules they should be bumping (or even starting their own). Just the way the forum works! Better to get involved with the community in the already active threads :)

Haha you posted this as I posted my last reply, you do know you can click on your profile and see your previous posts? That way you can check out any threads you've posted in. This one will be lost in the abyss come tomorrow when every other thread gets bumped so you'll have to go hunting for it anyway!
At Lovehoney, it doesn't matter if you are man, woman, gay or straight, trans or cisgender... we're all people, and we are all here because we enjoy sex. That's why we don't have specific threads for specific groups.
As others have pointed out, unless it's a 'game' thread, people won't respond to just one thread - if someone wants advice on a particular subject, first they will search to see if it's already been posted, and if not, will create a thread so it will be seen and people can reply!
Also, being gay or straight doesn't limit the advice you could give - i've received plenty of great sex advice and tips from men, women, gay, straight - hence why the forum is all inclusive - someone could easily miss a great piece of advice because they chose to ignore a thread because it had 'gay' in the title.
I know you didn't mean anything by it, and no one is going to hold anything against you. Just have fun, get involved in the conversations that are already happening - and the search function really is your friend!

Hey I think what people are trying to say is you're segregating gays from the rest of the community, but we don't have communities for different sexualities, I'm bi, but I don't just want to talk to bi people or join a bi community. If you don't mind me saying you seem to think gays are different to the rest of society, in your post on the sex toy testers thread you said that a couple needs extra fun, especially gay men. I think a lot of gay men on here will tell you they certainly do not need extra fun, and a lot of straight women will tell you they do. Being gay is no different to being straight. Many straight men give brilliant anal advice and you've cut them out of the conversation because they don't like their anal with a man

The thing I like most about this forum (and I have been on others) is that absolutely anyone can post on any thread and feel instantly included, what ever their sexual preferences, gender, hair colour even if you like - absolutely no discrimination and no one judges anyone else. Everyone is open minded and it's easy to ask anywhere for advice on anything. A lot of topics already have a few if not several threads with loads of good info which anyone can access should they want to do so.
There are several brilliant threads regarding anal and people would, I think, just automactically go to one of those if looking for info on that subject.
