Going Hairy for the Colder Months!

We discussed going hairy a few months ago but as today is the first day of September it’s time to start.

My husband has never seen me with a bush so this will be a new experience for him. I will be growing my bush and under arms over the next six months but will continue to shave / wax my legs plus trim the edges for neatness. I can’t wait to hear what my friends say when they see me in the gym showers. 😀. They all shave have a smooth look or a strip so to have a bush amongst us will be quite a novelty.

My husband says he will also grow his back so it’s going to be fluffy fun. 😀

I will keep you all posted on how it goes and are there any others out there in LH Land who will be doing this?

Ha ha! I've got images of them all gathering round in the changing room to have a look!

I have skin issues in that area so avoid over grooming anyway, and before going to the gym I didn't bother about my legs much either. A strange symptom (benefit maybe?) of my genetic condition is that I have never ever grown hair under my arms, I'm quite grateful of that but it's a weird things things I have all the other normal hair (once I started treatment) but arm pit hair never happened, wish it could have been legs too!

My daughter had to explain the term ‘gates of hell’ today. Apparently it’s when you have full bush and it’s tangked underneath. The things you learn from the younger generation lol. Enjoy your au naturale feelings and hopefully it’ll become the norm again!!

I wish I didn’t have to shave / wax them but then I will be having a break from that this winter. 😀

I am sure that as soon as my friends see me sprouting, things will be said in the showers. 😂

Gates of hell 😂. I have to say watching old porn it was the norm then so no doubt it will be in the future.

Not the Curly Wurlies ???? Nah ! Keep it smooth !!!

I could happily grow my muff again, but there is not a chance in hell of getting me to have underarm hair again. I get so itchy!

Even as a guy I can't stand under arm hair, just gets gunk'd up with deo, whilst I can see the appeal of a bush down there for you girls I will always prefur the clean look.

I can`t see there being much warmth benefit, so we will be staying smooth!

It all depends on whether you go without knickers in the winter 😂

Hadn’t considered this. Will probably switch to spray from roll on!

It’s something I haven’t experienced since my teens. My husband is intrigued to see me with a bush so this is the reason to grow them. The razor will no doubt return in the spring. 😀

Good for you! My OH doesnt shave we think the pressure on women society to do so is terrible. Aside from pubic lice (uncommon) it serves no medical benefit. But can increase skin conditions, risk of stis and ingrown hairs. Personally have always found shaving a little bit weird for aesthetic reasons as its making a vagina look prepubescent. Adult women have hair nothing wrong with that dont let society make you think otherwise. It took my OH awhile to be a bit more comfortable with her bodily hair. This was after trying razors, wax and cream. All were unpleasant and risked burns and cuts. We are now happy to just trim it a bit neater easily manageable and its fine.

I don`t link smoothness with pre-pubescant, i think it`s nice to see, and is much less irritating when giving oral, having my nose burried in hair makes me want to sneeze! I repay the effort by being smooth myself.

Last winter, I went knickerless from Christmas on and was totally smooth. I didn't have a warmth problem, even in the snow!

I grow my leg hair back in the colder months and my partner doesn’t care. If my legs are not on show who cares if they’re hairy? 😆

As for pubic hair, I’d maybe trim the bikini line to keep those strays under control but I’m all for the idea of growing it back and seeing how you feel about it. I mean, there’s a reason for it after all and it’s natural. If you become uncomfortable with it, you can easily just trim it up or shave it all back off!

I totally second this!

If I know we're having a sexy night though, I will make the effort and shave everywhere for my hubby. I don't much like being hairy down there myself, but like to look my best in pretty knickers - just wish it didn't grow back so quick!! My skin down there is extremely sensitive and also doesn't appreciate waxing, much to my dismay! 😬

I prefer hubby being clean shaven down there and so does he, he can't stand his pubic hair getting out of control, whatever the weather! ☔❄🌈

I love the feeling of being hair free down there , but will generally let it grow slightly . Never let it get much over a half inch . Summer winding down and will let leg , chest and back hair grow back during winter . But will still keep back hair trimmed down . HATE back hair , if I were rich I would have it lazered off . I will also let my beard and hair grow much longer , not only warm in our damp / cool winters , but helps keep cold air out of motorcycle helmet . Not to mention playing Santa .

I often let my leg hair grow its pretty blonde so Im lucky, my thighs I have shaved twice in my life and you cant really see the hair unless the sun shines on them, I couldnt have hairy pits I just have this worry that it would hold onto the smell. I like growing my bush but it gets to a certain length and it hurts (can;t even describe it - like a heavy uncomfortable feeling), mine is pretty long at the moment usually I wax but sometimes I wait an extra few weeks and let the bush hang free for a while lol, my boyfriend is a gorilla he rarely trims, funnily enough last time I was having my waxing done (my friend comes to our house) she was like WOW look at how long this pube is - it wasnt mine it was his hahaha, she was in hysterics

I get chicken skin easily so prefer to have hair, just trimmed neatly; I’ll shave my entire body on the night of a special occasion though if it’s what my partner and I are into at the time. I think having hair can be liberating, or just plain fun (if you can be bothered with trimming shapes and such, of course).
