Has anyone got any experiences with this or similar? The current strap on we’re using is quite hard and we’re looking for something a little softer.
Any suggestions greatfully received.

It might be worth thinking about harness briefs.
@jeff.mpp - I agree with @rockstar get a separate harness (or harness briefs) and then choose the dildo to your requirements- these are a lot more forgiving when in play
If you are not into penis looking dildos - there are others out there - but I find the real looking ones are the best

We also would cast a vote for a harness brief - recently made the upgrade to this one, I think, after years of using a Doc Johnson harness with the straps. Wife finds it much sexier to be able to just slip it on and go, it’s an easier placement to support her movement, and she loves that it stays in place while leaving all her bits accessible for pleasure as well.
This is my current favorite dildo for pegging - currently sold out in UK shop, but it has a very slender tip which is helpful for getting going and is quite a soft, squishy silicone. Still firm enough to get it done, but not hard.
This was our second step up dildo for pegging and found it to be quite hard - I think most of the “LH Curved Dildo” range are quite firm to hold their curved shape. We have the 7 inch green curved for wifey as well though she doesn’t care for it much at all as it’s so firm.
If you don’t care so much for it to be small, I’ll say we’ve been happy with the firmness and texture of the lifelike lover silicone dildo as well. And then just received this one in the mail and while it’s much larger and a different LH line, it’s also a very pleasant texture and squishyness.
Thanks all for your comments. It’s not for pegging, but for me to use on her. I need it hollow so that I can fit inside. Any thoughts?

Sorry, haven’t tried any of the hollow dildos specifically designed that way - I wonder if an extender/sheath would work for your needs? Or maybe a softer sheath/extender over your current hard dildo to soften it? Wouldn’t add any flexilbility, but might improve the texture.
