Its rare to see a dildo under 6 inches with plenty of girth. If women dont always like their men big how comes 9inch dildos are the most common size
Does this also mean that women don't like toys with girth?
If you can worry about cock size, then well done for getting the woman in the first place. I've never met a woman who knows the size of their man before they see for themselves. Now tie a few roses on the end so that you look bigger and are also being romantic at the same time.
I've already done the victor card in another thread, I won't do it again.

that actually made me LOL
Certainly most of my toys are much bigger. For the reasons you stated. Size takes on a whole different meaning.
My fave vibrator is average penis size and is a clit and g spot vibrator. Itās the vibrations on the right parts that does it for me not the size. I once did have a large one and found it off putting sometimes (my first vibrator so assumed bigger would be better - wrong!).
I have a number of Dildos and vibes. No more than 9 inches, but to be honest after a while even with lube the size of my larger ones hurt, despite how good they might feel. While my hubby and i use them once in a while for a bit of extra fun, he wont mind me saying that the real thing(not 9 inches!!) is better.
Fantasy⦠It would be interesting to know where the sweet spot size-wise for Dildoās is. Is it much different to realistic sized ones, do people prefer those proportional anatomically?
I donāt know, maybe my experience is out of the norm but the girls Iāve had experience with seem to be of the āsize does matterā opinion ![]()
Interesting question. Looking a realistic dildos in stock on the LH UK site and the filters that can be applied a basic list shows:
| Circumference | Thin (4.5" or less) | Average (4.5-5") | Wide (5" or more) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 28 | 73 | 70 |
So average circumference wins although itās pretty close with wide.
| Length | |
|---|---|
| Small (5" or less) | 35 |
| Average (5" to 7") | 81 |
| Long (7" or more) | 58 |
Here average (5" to 7") seems to be a clear winner.
It gets more interesting though when you start to combine the filters:
| Length/Circumference | Thin (4.5" or less) | Average (4.5-5") | Wide (5" or more) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small (5" or less) | 18 | 17 | 0 |
| Average (5" to 7") | 10 | 48 | 21 |
| Long (7" or more) | 0 | 8 | 50 |
The girth element is probably a better indication since I was unclear if the length filter was working on overall length or insertable length. Anyway assuming LH stock is based on customer demand the sweet spot with a count of 50 dildos is long (7" or more) and wide (5" or more) although this is also close call with average length and circumference at 48.
Note that the tables are only using data from the realistic range since I thought that metal and glass dildos would screw the result.
I did find an old 2019 article that used a LH survey stating the preferred size for a dildo is 6 inches but that 15% want 10" or more. This doesnāt align with the sizes stocked by LH but does match the top rated dildos (top 6 are all 6") and the most popular (2 of the top 3 are 6")
I donāt think I answered your question but it does show that there is a market for a large variety of sizes not just big/huge. My partner is not a fan of realistic preferring glass/metal but thatās a different topic.
