Kegal Balls?

Hi

I have just taken delivery of these http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=24996

I bought them to remind me to do my kegals - two kids and a high pollen count at the mo ha ha. So I've inserted them but here's the thing, I can't feel them therefore they aren't reminding me. Should I be able to feel them? Do I need a different type/size/weight? A complete novice at this but fed up thinking I may wee myself every time I sneeze.....

Hi Pink30 and welcome to the forum !

I can’t really comment on this product because I don’t own it but judging by one of the reviews another woman couldn’t really feel them either so it might just be that the free roaming weights inside the kegel balls aren’t all that free roaming. Do the kegel balls rattle when you take them out and shake them? If not my personal advice would be to invest in a new set. I think the best feature of a good set is being able to feel the weights moving around! And remember LH have a wonderful 1 year satisfaction guarantee!

However some women can’t feel them and describe it like having a tampon in. So it really is different for everybody! Keep at the kegel exercises when you remember and you could always set a reminder on your phone 2-3 times a day to give you that extra nudge.

To maximise use of your kegel balls I’d also recommend doing squats with them in and there are a lot of youtube videos on suggested exercises to do with them in (other than clenching them when you’re sitting down or walking) like Pilates and yoga positions that can really maximise the effect and work the whole pelvic floor.

So keep wearing them for now but if they aren’t doing it for you then maybe opt for a different set? These are fantastic and great for beginners http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=18124. I love mine!

Or you can opt for something more expensive and work up to heavier weights when you feel ready like these http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=20747.

Hope this helps! Xx

I have the Lelo Luna balls and I can't feel them either. But they're kegel exercisers and not Ben Wa balls so I don't know if there's any difference. But I have been squeezing my pelvic muscles whilst wearing the balls and my husband went off like a rocket when I tightened my muscles last night. I've only had them a week lol but he could definitely tell the difference.

Oops double post

I am currently testings balls for lovehoney and I can't really feel them . They are a lot smaller than my previous balls which I was definitely aware off. I can however feel the weights moving about inside if in running after the kids or I become more aware of them if I'm trying to bend over to pick up the kids toys etc. I think it really depends how strong your pelvic floor is to begin with and how heavy the balls are that your using x
