Latex Allergy

Just a random post to see who else in the LH community has a latex allergy

Me...but I have sensitive skin so allergic to most metals and even plasters and miropore tape...x

I don't but I've dated several women wirh whom I had to use non-latex condoms so it must be relatively common.

I'm allergic to latex...

Anyone else finding latex-free condoms to be a problem? Most guys complain that they are too small/tight and difficult to get on. Both with durex and rfsu.

It's so annoying, the size issue causes most guys to complain (which isn't really strange) but it kinda takes the fun out of the foreplay. And I can't use any pills or other protection as it completely wipes out my sex drive... Oh well, rant of the day ;)

^ Have you tried Skyn? http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/search/?q=Skyn They come in large but I've found guys who are a little girthier than average don't feel too squished in the standard size either

I thought I was although testing shows I'm not allergic to the most common 7 forms of latex, but something else. Possibly the powder or processing materials used in manufacturing some rubbers.

Highly recommend skyns condoms though.

No, I haven't. But I definitely will!

I'm only slightly above average girth but yes, I have felt some non-latex condoms constricting, especially Durex Zero. But the standard Skyns have been fine. There weren't any non-latex ones when I was a teenager so life must have been difficult for girls who had an allergy and couldn't take the Pill ...

Yes, I have this..... best ones I ever used were Mates Skyn Large https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=22413 ... Having an allergy definitely reduces the market available however, as any allergy sufferer will say, but than having a reaction!

Yeah I'm allergic to latex. It sucks.

Another vote for Skyn though!

Yep I m allergic to latex too

Saaame! Although strangely latex is one thing which (so far) seems not to cause an issue.

Plasters, micropore tape and metals though 😒

I once looked after a lady who went into almost instant anaphylaxis if a balloon popped in the other room with the door shut, scary as hell..
