Mens pubes

Just wondering does anyones boyfriend or husband shave all their pubes? I have wanted my husband to shave for ages but the most I could get him to do was a bit of a trim.We have watched a bit of porn together recently and many guys seem to do this now and my husband said he saw some blokes at the gym that had shaved so I think I've persuaded him on the idea now!

yes my man shaves the whole lot

rach74,

at the risk of asking a stupid question : how? have fancied it from time to time but don't know how to go about it. and doesn't it itch when it grows back?

It can itch but if you keep it short then it is not a problem. I bought a Phillips body groom and it is great can be used to just trim as well.

the first time he did it he trimmed then shaved it off and then like rugbyman he bought a trimmer meant for nose hair lol, and used that to get closer, then after he uses baby oil, then he just shaves every days and so it doesnt grow back and also doesnt itch

thank you both

My hubby does not all thou, just to tidy up he also trims xx

I shave the lot off the first time I needed to use hair cutters to take most of it off then shave the rest. I do it stood upright before going in the shower. If you keep it shaved it doesnt itch only when it starts to grow back. Mrs G prefers it as she doesnt get a mouth full of hair. Mrs G sometimes helps to shave the bits I cannot reach easily, that is a wonderful but vulnerable sensation.

I have shaved fully in the past but now just keep it trimmed really short with clippers. It was really itchy when fully shaved and I couldn't be arsed to keep shaving it so trimmed it is for me.

My boyfriend would never ever shave because of the itchiness when growing back. He trims his bush every now and then but it does not feel great for my clit when grinding. Also he leaves them in the bath for me to clean up. Yuck!! :|

added advantage of shaving guys, I can feel Mrs Gs lady bits against my skin when we make love and bumping and grinding doesnt make her sore.

Robin.

It doesn't itch when it grows back because you don't let it grow back! Really. Once you have shaved yourself smooth you will love the look and feel of it soooo much, you'll be hooked for life. I know your OH will love it as well.

Let me give you my routine:

I prefer to shave in the bath rather than the shower. This is just a personal preference.

I use a Gillette Fusion ProGlide Shaving Razor for Men when in the bath. This is not a personal preference, it's a must. Under no circumstances should you use a cheap disposable razor. Mens body hair is a lot more coarse than womens and you will just cut yourselt to shreads when using the disposables.

I know your thinking 'how do I shave off the hair on/around my penis and testicles'. There is no secret method to this, other than slowing down and taking your time. I do a full body shave, in the bath, once a week, and spend around 40 minutes to an hour, doing so. Trust me. Use a good quality razor and take you time and you will end up 'silky' smooth.

On the days when I give myself a trim, (once or twice a week) I use a 'Philips TT2040 Rechargeable All-in-One Bodygroom Pro' to get the job done. It's £50, but does the job beautifully and is well worth the money, if like my, you are naturally, very hairy.

So go ahead Robin. Shave youself and let us know what you think afterwards. My money's on you becoming a convert for life!

i dont give them a good clean shave i like to leave a bit of stuble on it but i deffinetly trim it every few days

My husband trims.. everything .. i want it shaved but he lets it grow back..so it does itch!

I dont mind if its trim.. i dont mind slightly hairy balls tbh.

I have tried shaving before but my partner prefers it when I have it very short down there. Nothing on the balls and very short every where is her favourite. So do it every few days, pays to as it means she will go down there more and I dont want her to get a mouth full of hair either, yuck!

I must admit I do like a guy with stubble on his cruch lol what can I say I'm a stubble rash fan nothing better than a little stubble rash on your chin after a good ......, you get the picture ;-) xx

My hubby removes it all, usually with a well known hair removal cream.

Leaves em peachy smooth! Great for suckin!!!! lol

I actually like un-shaven pubes (as long as they're not out of control bushman stylee!) on a guy, but then I have a thing for male body hair in general. Especially love my boy's, him being ginger, since it doesn't actually conceal anything since it's so light and fine, but is decent enough to play with and gives a fun texture to stroke and tug at.

But yeah, guys who I've seen shaved tended to do it 'wrong', either not getting close enough, or leaving it grow back, so they were always sandpapery and clawing at their nuts. Not sexy at all. Think if you're going to do it, then you have to do as the lads above said and commit to it 100%, not just give it a quick lash with the razor when you feel like it and let it grow wild and free in between.

Otherwise, generic shaving advice applies: exfoliate beforehand, make sure you have a decent quality blade, cut back any forestry before you wreck a new blade on half a sack, and go with the grain to reduce ingrown hairs. I've also found Sudocrem to be a great thing after shaving to soften and cool.

I'm a "seasonal shaver" in general. Spring (round about now in fact) the electric clippers come out and the bush goes.... at that point I decide whether I want the trimmed look (or feel) or I go further and go completely smooth. The novelty wears off quite quickly though - and I usually keep them trim through til autumn. My wife actually prefers me in my summertime phase - which is odd as it took her a long time to latch on to the pubic shaving trend and now does it more regularly than me. It's actually quite nice that she wants me to do it these days.

I think more men have shaved the last 2-3 years. My ex BF used to trim most off and my hubby has shaved for the last 2 years and I prefer it like that. I know at least 1 of my girlfriends whose hubby shaves also.
