MTF transition

Howdy peoples.

Got a question for all the currently transitioning and already transitioned people in the audience.

How did you know when you were ready to do hormone replacement therapy? Or if you really actually wanted to?

I’ve been seeing a specialist in regards to going on oestrogen, got the scripts and everything, all I have to do now is go and get them.

Emotionally, it feels right, logically it doesnt, and I’m stuck in the middle.
How do y’all take that first official leap?
All I can say is I’m certainly not happy in my current body

If it feels right emotionally, just go for it…
Just tip the scales from logic to emotional…

It’s difficult to say as different for everyone but from what you’ve said I actually would recommend you might benefit from a few more counselling sessions to help as you need to be 100% in on it before starting the process.

I know it’s a bit taboo and not near enough talked about on this side but I’ve read stories and come across a few people who’ve actually gone into transition that thought they was then realised they weren’t fully ready in themselves for it and came to regret the choice half way through the process…
