So obviously i know what an orgasm feels like but i have these things sometimes that i call "wasted orgasms" all build up no finale (or very little) anyway was playing with a new toy today and had a build up then it dropped, then another and another and another one after the other every time it dipped it built up again and left me gasping but it wasn't the usual bed and ground shakers.
this is NOT a reflection on the toy (the "wasted orgasms") because sometimes no matter how hard i try and no matter what i do i just end up with the "wasted orgasm"
does anyone else get these and do you count them as orgasms? (I do) but if so i take it i had multiple orgasms (YAY!) if not i'll keep trying lol
Almost all mine were like this for a long time, its only more recently that I;ve been able to fully climax although this often still happens. I used to count the 'wasted' ones as you call them even though they didnt leave me satisfied, but now that I've learnt more about my body and what I want, I dont settle for these as 'orgasms'. I think for me I if I'm trying too hard to come or thinking too much/being self concious then I tend to get the almost orgasms that just seem to build and then melt away before the actual climax. It can be very frustrating :P x
i get one okayish orgasm not usually very strong, then every 30 seconds or so i can go again but it weakens with each time and its only then the initial one contraction. Even my first aren't very pleasurable really.
I've found it was usually when I'm not mega horny and have a play, if that makes sense. If I was a little horny and would have a play thinking it'll get me more so, this would happen.
It used to happen if my OH would go down on me but he would lose the spot part way through. He would build it up ready to explode then he would stop what he was doing and switch it up, which was infuriating, so then he'd have to build it up again. Now he knows if I'm close, do not stop whatsoever lol
It also happens if I seem to think about climaxing too much, it's like my body tells me 'nope not today, you're expecting it' lol
It doesn't happen to me much now as I know my body and what I want etc so can usually relax completely into it and have the most explosive orgasms (literally).
All I could suggest is figure out what gets you really going, and really relax. Try not to be tense when masturbating, that used to be a big no no for me. Also don't focus on the end result. Focus on your body and the pleasure whatever is happening is bringing you.
Unfortunately I know them. It's a good term, i might borrow it. I'm used to calling them "microorgasms" as I do always get one, but they last for what feels like only a fraction of a second and not intense as I remember they should be. I've been having these in the last maybe couple of years, and as far as I'm concerned I'm not happy to count them in as they always leave me unsatisfied. I thought it was due to stress. Also because recently I've been getting my decent orgasms back, yay!
OMG I get that all the time! "Wasted orgasms" is such a good word for them. I find that I get the build up and I'm so so close, then it peaks for a millisecond and fades away. But then I can go again and again and it does feel really good but in the end not very satisfying.
Strangely enough I find that this happens more if I'm watching porn. I find it easier to get horny with porn but my orgasms are stronger if I use my imagination.
