Nipple piercing…

I have been thinking about having a nipple piercing, but do I go one or both?

Does anyone have any experience positive and negative.

What did your partner think  or do after it was healed?

Hi there!

I actually recently had both mine done! About 3 weeks ago in fact. I have been wanting them done for ages and whilst I was getting a second ear lobe piercing I had a ‘what the hell’ type moment and got them done.
I wasn’t sure whether to go for one or both (and was a little apprehensive but the piercer I went to was super nice and made me feel at ease (and also used a lot of freeze spray) that after I did my right Nipple, I thought I might as well just finish off the set! haha AND I LOVE THEM!!!

I have quite a high pain tolerance so might be hard to judge pain wise but would say it wasn’t as bad as some people make it out to be. It was more sore than the ear but it was more of a ‘take your breath away’ type of pain and was over and done with pretty quickly. I even went for a spot of shopping afterwards, and to be honest they just felt a little tender. I also stupidly decided to go get them done 2 days before my period, so didn’t really help with the tenderness! haha

Healing wise they say can take 3-9 months to heal, depending on how your body reacts. I would say that 3 weeks in, they are healing pretty well and I have a check in with the piercer again in about 4 weeks. Whilst healing, you obviously have to keep the area clean (so not sucking on the ol’ nipples for a while) but easy to look after. I soak a cotton bud in saline solution (made mine with a teaspon of salt to 1 pint of boiling water- making sure all the salt is dissolved and left to cool) and give both a little gentle clean 3 times a day. Just have to be careful not to snag or catch them on anything as IT HURTS haha.

With regards to my partner, I did query what they thought of them beforehand (luckily the answer was LOVE THEM but even if they didn’t I probably would have still got them done anyway haha). And pretty much the second I got back and showed them off, clothes were off and the rest is history  haha. So they were definitely a fan!!

I am lucky enough that I can go braless so I am doing that for a bit to keep the pressure off them whilst they are healing and showering is all good too! Just if you’re getting super soapy, just make sure to wash them off with Saline Solution (salt water) afterwards.

I think on my check up with the piercer, depending on how well they have healed, they might change to a slightly smaller bar nut that’s all TBC at the moment.

I actually went to the piercer I did on a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad I did. I would just make sure to research piercers well to make sure you find a good one. Most are really happy to take questions and things over the phone

I hope this helps you a little bit? Good luck! Happy Piercing! hehe xx

What ever you do don’t look up what can go wrong!! My OH was gonna get both hers done and read up about healing and aftercare but stupidly read about some bad experiences some had gone through and that put her off, tried to tell her a few bad experiences out of millions done shouldn’t sway her but she talked herself out of it!! Much to my disappointment.
On what to get done for both look aesthetically better.

Hi ya

I have both mine done, in July of last year.
For reference I have 36GG and they aren’t as perky as they were before I had my children.

I’ve had no problems, my own little bug bears are I can’t sleep naked now, as i’m paranoid i’m gonna rip them out, im a front sleeper, so I just wear a vest to bed for peace of mind.

2nd is they kill when u get them trapped on your bra! I’m a web cammer so i’m forever getting my boobs out! Honestly pain like nothing I’ve had before :joy:

I love them, i’m not a fan of my boobs, i’m really self conscious over them, and having them pierced has made me like them more than I did.

Go for it, go for a decent piercer, check there feedback, any decent piercer will see you if you have any problems.

Good luck and I hope you love them as much as I do.

My partners Dad got both nipples pierced fairly recently, maybe a few months ago. Despite going to what he believed to a reliable, experienced and well recommended piercer, they ended up being pierced too deep (?) or in slightly the wrong position which caused some issues. The extent of those issues I’m not sure, but I do know he got them removed a couple of months after.

My guess is that all nipples are different and that particular piercer just hadn’t had enough experience with his kind of nipples and body type. Try to find somewhere that you know is well experienced in exactly what you need. I’d personally look for a specialist body piercer with a portfolio of work you can look through, as opposed to somewhere that mostly just does piercings on the side.

Many people tend to get both done these days so do what you think you’d be more comfortable with :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s looks very sexy on the women porn stars that I’ve seen.

In my experience I do not care for them, I like nipples just the way they are, no further adornment necessary.
An ex girlfriend had one pierced and I just found it distracting, I much preferred her without it in.
This is just my personal opinion and if you have a partner I would recommend discussing with them first. Ultimately its your body and you should do what makes you happy.
Good luck CF x

I love my nipple piercings that I got about 5 years ago, they look really nice and make things super sensitive. Initially I was going to get one done but might hubby suggested getting both and I think getting both does look better. Just have to be a little careful not to knock them or it can hurt a little!

Also have a VCH piercing that I got when I was younger which is my favorite and highly recommended!

My father was Canadian military and even though he commanded an amour division still had to learn how to parachute. He once told me it’s not the first jump that is the worst, it’s the second one because now you know what to expect. Nipple piercing would be the same. Personally, I prefer a single piercing on males and both nips on females but it takes guts to get the second one done. Hurts like a bitch for about two seconds, Burns for a week. Tender for a month. 6 to 8 months later, fully healed and can stretch if interested.
