Has anyone ever taken norethisterone before to stop or delay a period ?
I am due to go away on holiday this week and was prescribed this to delay my period while I am away, You are supposed to start taking them for 2 days before you are due on, But I have unfortunately come on today ( 5 days early 😢 ) and was wondering if I start them now will they still work or is it to late ??
I have taken it before but it was to bring my periods on due to irregular cycles after being on birth control.
I believe to stop a period it would take around 2-3 days before it takes effect so depends what day you go on holiday, only thing to do is take it and see what happens. x
Thanks heidi920 that is what I am now doing, I stated them this morning and it seems to be slowing already. So fingers crossed I should be ok for going on Monday xx
