Not sure what to do?

I have a glass dildo http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=30948 I was sorting out my sex toy drawer and I moved a toy from under it and it banged on the floor. It was a high fall just make a loud noise but after looking at it I think it has a small little nick and feels rough when I run my finger over it...i am gutted its one of the few things I can take anally which is a huge deal as I get so horny at the thought of anal my body makes it not so easy or enjoyable though ..but I still want it and still try..and this feels good for me there...but it's discontinued...so can't exchange, shout I get a refund or just Carry on using it..it's only a small nick but i am very aware it's there...what would you do?Xxx

Wasn't a high fall* sorry x just made a loud noise*

Wow don't you love it when you notice typos after you can't edit!!! Xx

Should I get a refund..Wow I need more coffee clearly!!! X

I'm not convinced I'd keep using it.. Personally.
Any damage to glass would compromise your safety. Plus even a little nic would start to harbour bacteria.
Is there a similar toy in shape or size which you would be comfortable to try? Better safe than sorry.

No, I would definitely not use it. A little nick could be enough to scratch/cut you internally, or indeed it could be weakened enough to break inside you. Definitely not worth the risk!

I'd get a refund and try out something new. Pity that one is discontinued :(

I haven't used it since I saw the nick..i am not sure I would be able to without worrying about it..gutted as I loved it x

I agree with the above. I wouldn't risk it. Is it sold anywhere else? Or does lovehoney have something of a similar shape?

I will ring Lovehoney on Monday...after I spend the weekend sobbing and looking at replacements..any advice for someone that really wants to enjoy anal but is finding it a bit difficult to enjoy or get used too? I have the beginners silicone butt plug and the fsog vibrating butt plug which I find too stabby and definitely not for beginners, I've used the fsog deep within vibrator which was nice and the glass one linked above. Xx

Would either of these dildos be suitable? X

Oooh so so.pretty!!love the first one especially, stunning xxx

These three could be good as they're somewhat similar in that they are slim with a g-spot style curve.

Ooh liking the look of the middle one muchly xxx

Bit of an out there idea, put some Epoxy glue over the nick and gently warm with a hair dryer and it will cover it and be nice and smooth, won't do you any harm(the glue), if it was going to break it would have they're made from "pyrex" which is very strong, though don't stress it with temperature play, IE don't put it in the fridge.

I have one of those, only used vaginally but found it a bit stabby so use it bulb end first instead.

How about this one if you do need to replace it.
I do own this one and we have both used it anally and it very good and we both do get pleasure from using this one.

How about going down (no pun intended) the stainless steel route. Expensive, but indestructible! Fantastic for temperature play and they have a lovely weight to them.

I have this:

http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=9042

It is heavy (310g) so it lets you know it's in there, but it's so comfortable I can sleep with it in when Mistress Wife lets me.

Oh, and you could also use one to (pardon the innuendo) beat off any burglars!

In the past i have repaired chipped cyrstal glasses with a diamond file. Noy cheap, but if you love this toy it might be worth it

You could also use the small end of this one http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=29233 (I don't quite get how it's anal safe when used as intended anyway).

I would use even the tiniest nick in a glass toy as the perfect excuse (no, actually it would be a compelling reason, not an excuse!) to buy a (or more...) new toy(s). Even though normally I'm very much in favour of do-it yourself repairs....

Don't use it knocked up. I'm so sorry thus happened. Looks like skme great suggestions on here.

I definitely wouldn't use a damaged glass toy no matter how small the damage may be. It's not worth the risk of 1, cutting yourself or 2, bacteria could easily breed in the damage resulting in an infection xx
