Quick question - I saw somewhere (can't remember where though) that there is a type of disc which can be used as a barrier when you have your period to make sex less icky.
I was wondering if anyone has seen/used them

Nope...it's not that either. It's not a cup, it's like a mini frisbee shaped thing that is soft and bendy which is inserted and acts as a barrier and collects at the same time.
