I've been told Game of Thrones is raunchier than the film by several people 😭 In fact Cazz ur report is the only good one I've heard, which makes me sad as I wanted the film to be good .. 😕 I've not seen it yet so can't comment n the film myself personally

I found the music playing during the "BDSM"/sex scenes contributed to the lack of sexyness. I can't remember specific examples but I remember finding the scenes to be goofy and artsy at the same time.

And I found it really off-putting how much Ana didn't really seem to be into much of the "BDSM" and more just the sex things. Was she clearly into it in the book? I didn't get very far in it (I'm still pre-grad scene)

I also remember taking issue with the anal scene. Like the book, there was no prep or lube or slowness at the beginning and last I checked those are some things that are important?

I went to see twilight as a young teenager, they were whooping and taking pictures when wolf boy stripped, I imagine it was a similar scene :/

I hate when they do that! In porn it's annoying but a Hollywood film shoud have been more sensible about it

Probably the same women who are now old enough to see fifty shades! Ive definitely decided i would much rather watch it in the comfort of my own home if theres a chance of whooping women and camera flashes!

Aweful, got dragged there by OH, never read the books but hope their a lot better than the film as I can't see the appeal otherwise! Screen was full of hormonal woman who cackled at the slightest bit of skin! Like they'd never seen it before, pathetic!

I haven't been yet, but will be going in a couple of weeks. Sounds like Lovehoney should have a stall at all the cinemas, these women sound like they need some serious orgasmic action, lol x

I actually wonder what happens to the women who have seen the film? Do you reckon theres hopeful husbands sitting at home waiting until their wives get back from the cinema for some action, but the women arent interested?

I wonder since the film is about a man taking charge, whether a lot of women actually are secretly disappointed that their husbands arent taking charge.

This definitely I reckon. I say that because this was me when I read other books that had D/s in. I had no idea how to explain what I wanted though. So for ages I just ignored it.

I'm sure plenty of guys and gals do get lucky afterwards though. I know my chances of getting lucky after I've seen are pretty much 100%, so I'll be happy even if the films crap x

I managed to lug my boyfriend to the cinema with me and we were all ready to have a naughty sexy time. I even wore my wevibe out and a shawl to hide the action. Then the movie started and omg.

I didn't like it. : / The biggest bummer was Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. I don't know if it was me but he actually looked a little bored during the scene with the flogger. Anyhoo, we both didn't find it hot at all. Dakota is adorable and hot so I guess at least there was some eye candy but on the whole, it was just underwhelming for us. Not to mention that the plot was actually thinner than the one in the book.

At least we had sex after that. :3

You were going to have sexy time in the cinema?

That's not cool. :(

@Cuff Links - no that's pretty much how she (Ana) was in the books, especially the first one . Which is why I was slightly surprised when I read it, as it was hyped up to be so big on bdsm...

I haven't seen the film but am enjoying reading the conflicting reviews. Seeing it on Thursday & it's not looking so busy so hopefully there's no screaming etc.

I have to say it's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back! The acting was awful and the sex scenes as someone already has said weren't remotely sexy! My OH enjoyed it as she has read the books, but it just was rubbish!

It also doesn't help that throughout the movie when the Middle aged women of the audience (no offence intended) take flash photo pictures and woop (as if they are 5 year olds) everytime Jamie Dornan got his kit off or a sex scene started. It was like this was as close to porn as they had ever got and couldn't quite believe it. It was very annoying!

Haha sorry for the rant, hope everyone else's viewing and experience goes much better :)

I thought the film was good and how I expected/imagined it to be from reading the books. It could have been a lot more sexy in my opinion but never mind.

P.s I think we were in the same screen! I had ladies taking photos on their phone as well, with full photo flash on. how annoying ![](upload://auespWY2jeVe46VFziva9nry44n.gif) thats what Google is for if you want to see pictures after the show. My rant is now over too.

I'm glad you thought the film was good Cazz! I just neevr got into it, and it just was not my cup of tea, considering how much I love the whole BDSM thing. I would agree it needed to be way more sexy!

Haha, maybe we were - did ya go on Friday? It was just a pain in the backside!

I know what u mean... There's something not quite right there

Game of Thrones is one of, and possibly is, my favourite show on TV - the acting in it is brilliant, and the sex scenes are quite a bit raunchier in certain aspects! There is no BDSM involved! Some of the sex scenes are distasteful as its medieval-ish but some are quite passionate! I'd reccommend the show generally! Absolutely brilliant!

tbh the film isn't too bad, they took out the cringe worthy stuff from the books, dulled down his stalkerish behaviour and ramped the sex scenes up to a more romantic setting.

yes

Saw it on Sunday night with the wife and apart from the cinemar being full of hormonal women and very few men I actually thought it was what it was. What the people expect. I'm probably one of those rare men that has read the book too!
I have to ask though, how many people have got home from the film and had nookie! I was turned on abd so sad the wife I think and we had a great session that night!

Watching http://www.belledesoir.com/womens/fifty-shades-of-grey-sex-toys, I found similarities to Twilight. There is a man who likes control, there is a woman who is a virgin and lacks self confidence, there is a sister who seems to look at the girl with disapproving eyes, a mother who is happy to welcome the girl into her home and the man who pushes the girl away. And of course the sorrowing effect of Christian playing the piano……I wonder where that scene took it’s effect, from?

Ana and Christian have a fair few cringe worthy moments in the book, the main one that stands out is the ‘tampon’.

He reaches between my legs and pulls on the blue string — what?! — and gently takes my tampon out and tosses it into the nearby toilet. Holy fuck

I, for one am thankful that this didn’t make the cut in the film!

Ana and Christian have developed a sense of humor, which was clearly missing in the book. There isn’t any of that teen-type gawkiness from Ana, yes in the beginning, she does have that doe-eyed thing going on, where she is totally oblivious to anything of a sexual nature but that soon vanishes.

I am grateful that the screen writers took away the pain-staking thoughts of Ana and her ramblings, it made watching this adaption a bit easier on the senses but I was left wanting ‘more’. Well, more of the darker side, rather than the ‘how they got there‘ part.

Christian’s controlling attitude came out blazing, there was no explanation but he went from a general phone call to a drunk Ana in a bar, to being instantly there and taking her home. I would have preferred to see this built up a little better or not be as-so intense.

There has been a few comments made about Dakota and Dornan, not having a connection on screen but I can assure you, there are plenty of scorching moments between these two actors and nothing ‘lacking’ about it!

The D/S contract was drawn out over around 65% of the film’s content but it was worth it, both had comical entities. Ana showing her lack of understanding of certain things and Christian trying to negotiate the paragraphs that Ana had vito’d out. Sat across a boardroom table, both tossing back and forth the terms, it made me chuckle and remember certain personal experiences (Ana asking about http://www.sextoys.co.uk/women/anal-toys/, a moment I remember well). Although, Christian, in the film, goes to a fair bit of effort to sway Ana’s mind. I didn’t see much of Christian ‘directing’ Ana, like he does in the book, in-fact, he is some-what understanding of Ana’s frailties and helps to open her eyes up.

One thing that took me back a step, was one scene, where he pretty much begs Ana, for her to be his.

The Red-Room and sex scenes are smouldering, of course Dakota is fully naked a fair amount of times and she shows her confidence with ease. There are a couple of Christian arse shots, him in a towel or half naked. The Bondage scenes were tastefully done, he introduces her to spanking but there were no http://www.paidonresults.net/c/33627/1/358/0/sex-toys/love-eggs-jiggle-balls/ to be seen, thank god! In the book, this was another cringe worthy moment and I don’t see how this could have been made ‘sexy’ for viewers.

Big thumbs up, for the director Sam Taylor-Johnson. The way the Red-Room scenes were shot, were very tasteful, sensual and wanting. Generally the sexy-time scenes were something reminiscent of films such as Indecent Proposal and 9 1/2 weeks.

In-fact, the screen writer Kelly Marcel, had to remove most of the more ‘porn type’ exploits, so that the film would comply with, well being a film and not a porno. Thank god for Kelly’s input, no inner-Ana monologues, no inner goddess bullshit and the lack of ‘Holy Cr*ps’, to a more polite and innocent Ana.

is Fifty Shades Of Grey a bad film? In my opinion, no, it’s not a bad film at all but it’s not an Oscar award winning film either. It’s a decent film and for me, that is about it.
