Plug pops out

I’ve had this https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=29228 for a couple of weeks or so. I am delighted with it and have been using it fairly regularly. At first I was concerned that it was going to go completely inside, but I don’t worry about that now. In fact I seem to have the opposite problem in that after about 10 minutes or so my body begins to push it out and I have to keep nudging it back in. Is it still early days and my body will get used to it being there eventually?

It is possibly because it has quite a wide neck and also being glass is probably quite heavy. Is this your first plug?

Yep, most likely that it has quite a large neck and as I not much difference in size between the being and the 'bulb' of the plug. With narrower neck you will closer up more after the bulb goes in so holding it in better.

Ah, I see. Yes it does feel rather “clenchy” when it’s in. It looks so nice too! I dare say I could still use it as a training tool for short periods to get that area used to being opened?

I had one that used to pop out, but over time, I was able to keep it in for longer periods, mostly by relaxing into it. I wouldn't give up on it too easily!

Having said that, a narrow neck is a good idea, especially if you want to wear for hours or go out with it in.

Basically, it is three things.

1). It is glass so it is relatively heavy and smooth.

2). The neck to bulb ratio is small and the plug is pretty short, meaning there is not a lot for your sphincter to grip onto

3). There is a natural response to being plugged, your body will over time start to push it out naturally.

Over time and with practice you can learn to control your sphincter much better making it possible to grip a plug like this and keeping it from slipping out. if you want a plug to wear longer then a bigger neck to bulb ratio is advisable. If you want to wear something like what you have for a longer time then something like a plug harness would help, its tough to find nice ones though. definately hole in the market.
