Seen various threads; that seem to indicate that shaved, or very well trimmed, seems to be the overwhelming preference (for past decade or so!) Interested: Are there many that have a kink/fetish for their OH to have a full natural look? Do they accommodate this kink? Or is this going towards the more obscure kinks?
I did have a look at this thread; seemed very geared to ‘smooth couples’. And methods to shave etc… Didn’t want to hi-jack the thread; kind of the opposite side I was wanting to open up for discussion.

I have long preferred to be trimmed very short. Wife on the other hand does not like the inconvenience of shaving (no pain tolerance for waxing), says it causes itching, and generally won’t do it. So it is for me a matter of life, not fetish or my preference.

I vary what I do with mine but I don’t like to be completely bare

I’m genuinely gutted when my wife trims her hair; thankfully she’s not too bothered e.g. hair or no hair - so trimmings don’t happen too often and i don’t push it asking for more bush. Hubby has had to become accustomed to the natural, messy look as I’m a very busy mama and just don’t have the time for all that.
I love the clean look but I hate the inconvenience that comes with it, and the discomfort of then it’s starting to grow back.
I think in general, clean shaven is the preferred choice.

I may have read your initial question wrong. If you’re asking if people would recommend it in general then there are quite a few members who like to be smooth down there. 
Waxing isn’t the only option, but it’s quite popular.
If you pop a few keywords in the Search you should be able to find quite a few topics discussing it.

I’m totally clean shaven including balls and arse. The missus keeps herself nice and trim. I suppose everyone is different but for me being clean shaven makes me feel clean.

I’ve also been smooth, first I started shaving it and then waxing. I just don’t like pubic hair down there on me and my boyfriend likes it like this also. He was hairy when when got together and started trimming and shaping, eventually shaved it all and now gets it waxed. He says he likes it without hair and that’s fine with me also. It does feel tidier with both of us being smooth.
