Pumps do work for making the blood flow to your cock better. If it is to help with ED then I would suggest an adjustable cock ring so once you have your cock at the desired inflation you can tighten the cock ring and when you release the pump your cock should stay at the same size. I have tried out the Tracey Cox automatic cock pump but due to scarring on my tubes from a vasectomy it was too painful. The pump was awesome though. No, not trying one is not what I am saying. I had a pretty bad infection on both tubes after the OP which has left me with significant amount of scarring. From what I have read about other people's experience (including those that have had a vasectomy) they have had no issues. Well I got mine on a special offer as you're right it is pretty expensive. Try having a look at the less expensive ones and read the reviews to help you decide. Thankfully LH have an amazing returns policy.

As for erectile dysfunction you may find it useful to use the search function to have a look at any past threads about it. While you're in the forums the search bar will only give you forum thread results for whatever you type in (it's a bit patchy but you can also type '[keyword] Lovehoney forum' into Google and that's supposed to be better). A few people have mentioned using a strap on and then swopping between that and your own erection during sex. That way you can take advantage of any stiffness no matter how fleeting whilst also have the dildo there to fall back on so there's no pressure to perform (or at least a reduced amount).
