So, I'm a bit curious. I've always wanted to know how to squirt, I've only managed it once in my five years of being sexually active. However, my boyfriend is convinced squirting is just wee. But as far as I'm aware, it's not, because isn't that what 'watersports' is? I feel so stupid asking a question which is probably really simple to answer!

There's an on going debate if squirting is wee or not. Personally I don't think do, it doesn't taste or smell like wee and is not wee coloured. Also, I can have a wee, then have sex and squirt and then need a wee again straight after so I don't see how it can be wee :)
It is wee, the reason why it looks and smells different is because when the g-spot is stimulated, the bladder gets stimulated and produces urine quicker (and in turn weaker)) - also the act of sex releases hormones which flush out in your wee. This is why it comes out clear and smells different.
I belive it's a natural body reaction to rescrict the chance of water-infection, as sex increases chances of bladder infection
Well scientists did a study on it and unless all the women they used were abnormal they concluded wee was all it could be (with small amounts of vaginal stuff mixed in probably). Never squirted myself so cant speak from experience but would love for it to occur :)
Scientists conducted a study of this, on all of 7 women... Yes... 7! I had to have evaluate more people for my GCSE coursework.So as far as I'm concerned I'm taking the bullshit study with a very small pinch of salt.
In the past a lot research has been carried out that shows that the fluid produced from squirting actually contains very little urine, and it actually has a lot of the componants of male ejaculate (Obviously not the sperm).

Many years ago studies also shown that women don't orgasm at all, from penetration or from their clitoris, the way I see it, that bullshit 'study' set women back YEARS by again 'shaming' their orgasms.
The way I see it is that if it's a watery substance that contains Urea (which it does), and comes from the bladder (again, which it does) - then it's urine. That's the basic definition for urine so I don't understand how it could possibly not be urine?
It was also concluded that when women "come", there are two ways. Natural vaginal lubrication is the most common, and then "squirting" was the second, released from the bladder through the urethra.

I believe, and many studies suggest, that squirting is pee. There's nothing wrong with that though, and to be honest I think many people (not all), simply reject that because it makes them uncomfortable. Of course there are limited sample sizes for some of the studies though, and there's still a lot to be done to 100% prove it, but that's firmly what I believe based on the evidence we have (which even includes ultrasounds during masturbation!).
I don't see how studies like that 'shame' women - if it's just stating a biological fact then what is there to be ashamed of? Surely it's better to be told it's very diluted urine than to pretend it's something it's not just to make us feel better. I don't think any woman should be ashamed of squirting, pee or not. Anyway, that's what I believe, but I don't expect to convince anyone else just yet :p
Squirting is not to be confused with female ejaculation either, which is an entirely different substance from the vagina, not urethra. Female ejaculation is similar to male ejaculate, not squirting.

Many people don't actually realise that wee isn't dirty - it's actually sterile, you could safely drink it if you wanted to. There's just a stigma about it being a waste product that makes people think that it's a bad thing and a dirty act.
There isn't just one study showing this, it's been proven a few times - and why it's now banned in British pornography.
Ugh don't even get me started on the British porn laws. I don't watch porn but even I'm angry that they've made it illegal to show squirting and face sitting etc, as if female pleasure is dirty.

as for me several women I've been with squirt, and as far as I'm concerned it doesn't taste like wee nor does it smell like piss.
dont know it this helps, but I do love to get a mouthful of it.
as far as i know there is two types of squirting. one with little fluid which is vaginal fluid, and these giant waterfall type ones which are urine.
the experiment being quoted was only done with waterfall women and concluded that the bladder was empty before, full midway, and empty after, also the fluid was urine. however, 7 people does not make science.

That "study" is a farce. Here's the simple facts of the matter; the principle element within urine is urea - clue is in the name. Urea is mostly absent from female ejaculate (mostly because very diluted traces are usually found, unavoidably). What is urine once the urea is removed? Not urine. To put it another way, if you took all the apples out of a crumble, is it still an apple crumble? Nope. It has a different taste, look, smell, feel, and has an alternate chemical make-up... it's a different substance.
All of which is moot anyway, because as seen in the posts above even if it is just urine, or is seen as urine, it's okay, it's not dirty or rank, and people find it hot and get off on it anyway. "Watersports" and "squirting" remain different to most people.
At the end of the day, if you climax and you squirt, it's safe to say that you have had a good time- pee or not and there's many women and a gell if a lot of men who would love for that to happen. I have had long sex sessions with my hubby, squirted, carried on and then pee'd on him (we like watersports)
In my limited experience of squirting i have a hard time believing urine and the fluid released when squirting are the same thing. first off smell taste and colour are totally different secondly when i need to pee i know it, when i have squirted it's just happened i haven't had that need to pee feeling
If there was conclusive evidence obtained from hundreds or thousands of women that urine and squirt liquid are one and the same i would believe it's basically urine
