Does anybody know where I can get non hold-up stockings? I have a basque with attached suspenders which came supplied with fishnets but the fishnets have become laddered. I there4 want to get some new (sexy!) stockings but Lh only sells hold ups (which 2 my mind defeats the object) or combined suspender belts & stockings. I apologise if the above is a silly question but as a single male this is my first encounter with this kind of problem.

Lh do not only sell hold ups.
They have tons of none hold ups :S - these are a favourite of mine: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=17220 for a fab price and if you're after fishnets these are fab quality for the price and gorgeous too http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=13860 (In my pictures of those I'm not wearing suspenders but you need suspenders to wear them out and about - I just have big thighs!).

My apologies, AD! I assumed that if the model in photo wasn't using suspenders to hold 'em up they must b hold ups: I should've read more carefully! I deserved to b spanked! (please, anybody? )

Hehe - that's fair enough, it's an easy assumption to make (it's why I clarified in that for my photos they were non hold ups but I wasn't using sussies because it is misleading).
In the info there is usually an extra warning such as "need suspenders" because Lh are just wonderful so you can pick the ones you like, then you can double check the info just to be sure :)
I'm not a fan of suspenders myself so I go for hold ups. Thunder thighs here so no such problems with them rolling down. But a bit of help perhaps.
1, Don't use any kind of body lotion before you put them on. Plain dry skin is best to make the most of whatever 'stick' they have
2. There will be a brand that suits you, you just have to find it. I know which ones I can wear and which I can't and some are much better than others. I like Primarni ones personally but they are on the long/bigger side so go for some known to be smaller.
I'm sure hold-ups were designed by men for men's legs - they work fine on me; even the cheap ones from Tesco or Asda, but on MrsPink they tend to roll down and she can't wait to get 'em off again. I did have some Falke hold-ups which were quite dear but looked as if they'd hold up on lady legs, but I never got MrsP to try them so I'm not sure.
The big problem I have is with getting stockeings to stay up properly - it needs a co-ordinated approach to get a suspender belt that doesn't slide down and stockings that are long enough not to pull everything down. Fortunately it's a lot easier to get larger stockings than it was when I stated buying them 30 years ago or so. Also, a basque with shoulderr straps can work well, though I then get the man's problem of a longer body to cope with.
I sometimes wear hold-ups with suspenders, which lets me use flimsy suspenders that happen to be part of the set I'm wearing without problems. Can't bear non-matching undies!
