šŸ’Œ Ultimate Valentines Day!

If we have the house to ourselves Iā€™d cook one of his favourite meals and dress up for the meal in my favourite lingerie , LBD and heels. Although I think the little one will be with us so it will probably be a takeaway for 3 and myself and my partner will celebrate another night

Generally we donā€™t celebrate valentineā€™s as such with general life gets in the way to celebrate it properly.

When Fifty shades films were released we did go see them at the cinema. Mostly now we do like to make it as naughty as possible.

If there were a dream way to spend valentineā€™s it would be a romantic trip to Paris that involved seeing the sights and going up the Eiffel tower. Then In the evening would be a beautiful hotel room with a hot tub, a four poster bed, champagne and making love in the evening

Last year was our first together. I like to go ā€œOTTā€ as my partner says.
Made him breakfast in bed.
I had balloons on the ceiling with pictures of us on.
Went for a walk to the local park.
Rose petals on the bed
Couple of presents
3 course meal all homemade food
Lingerie of course :yum:
Even watched a YouTube video to see how to fold napkins into love hearts :see_no_evil:

It was an amazing day

We dont really do valentines day. Being in a long distance relationship and rarely being able to be together on the day means we dont really acknowledge it that much. I used to always send a card but he is the least romantic person I have ever met and says he doesnā€™t buy into the commercialism of it lol.
My ideal valentineā€™s day would just be to spend the entire day, maybe a weekend with him, completely alone somewhere remote where we wouldnt be disturbed and to just be together. Plenty of toys and sexy time of course. And if he was to just acknowledge the day with a card or maybe some flowers that would literally make my year. I dont want expensive gifts or anything like that. The gift of his time and attention would be worth the world to me. Soppy I know lol.

Valentineā€™s Day is ideal for me, itā€™s restaurant, cinema, trip home with a little bonus to heat up and make you want to have a shower or a bath when you come home and cuddly finish in a room prepared by the treatments in the aftermath midday. exhausted we fall asleep and we will pick up the children the next day after tidying up and cleaning the bathroom and the toys.

For us itā€™s generally on the Saturday nearest to the actual day mainly because of work.

I get the day off, get my food in bed, he takes care of our daughter and I spend the day in bed or on the sofa, just relax playing with my daughterā€¦ then in the afternoon her grandma will pick her up to spend the evening and night with her. We play some regular board game and he makes dinner or we order in depending on what we want, then we watch a romantic film with a drink or 2 after which I tend to excuse myself and change into sexy and come back downstairs finish film or talking and slowly get into stuffā€¦

This year however weā€™ve had a rough patch and weā€™ll be adding a few things to our night but all for the better.

All these sound beautiful in their own way!

We donā€™t do anything and this year even less as weā€™re just really busy with family life and work. Itā€™s rubbish but itā€™s life!

We might buy each other a card. Maybe

Im with @Peitho, if your single its a bit depressing having it all jammed down your throat via ads etc. Maybe we need a ā€œlove yourselfā€ day.

But no, for me valentines day is just another day of the week. If i had someone im sure it would be fun, but at a person whoā€™s never even been given flowers or a cards on feb 14th its a bit meaningless.

Really sorry to hear youā€™ve never been given cards or flowers @Green_Eyed_Girl, every lady should be spoilt on Valentines Day. :disappointed:

Treat it as a ā€œlove yourselfā€ day and I hope you find someone who treats you to flowers and cards and toys but not for Valentineā€™s Day, someone who does it other days of the year just because they want to.

Thanks @Knight1119 and @Peitho, id like that too to be honest. This all gets a bit less chaotic i am going to try internet dating. Meeting people normally is really difficult.

I really hope it works out for you @Green_Eyed_Girl, take care :crossed_fingers::slightly_smiling_face: :hugs::hugs:

First off - kids to stay at their grandparents!

Cabin in the woods, candles, cosy fire. Take our bag of favourite toys and lingerie. Spend the time cuddling, eating, reading and lots of sexytime fun! No places to go, no kids - just enjoying each other.

Relationship Status: just buying a ton of books.

Just saw this Valentineā€™s Day ad for a book store  :two_hearts: :books:

I have never been with someone on Valentineā€™s Day either. I usually have to make sure my dad remembers to buy my mum something. Which means I normally have to buy the present he at least buys the card. I donā€™t want my mum to miss out they have been together for over 30 years. So itā€™s tends to just be something simple like a rose and some balloons. Am not keen on the whole online dating thing but hope you find success with it :crossed_fingers:.
