This is probably the the only area I dont yet own a toy for. Anyone here have experience with such toys?

The idea makes me cringe and hold my little man in pain but having never tried it I might be missing out.

Also I'm always looking to wear toys under my clothes and in public etc and this one says its for long periods making it ideal:

However it looks a bit big for a beginner in that department. Should I start with something smaller? (I'm not looking to stretch anything long term).

I would suggest starting with a sound rather than a plug, such as this one https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=34407 That way, you have two slightly different widths to try and you can experiment with depth as well. I know there is a thinner sound than the one I linked, but i would recommend the size I linked. Simply because, the smaller the sound, the more risk of puncturing your urethra. Make sure you use plenty of sterile lube (the sachets Lovehoney sells for e stim is perfect for this) and take it slow. It is natural, especially if you are nervous, to try and force the sound in, but never do this. Gently guide it and let gravity assist with the insertion. If you decide to go for it, have fun

Thanks, I did look at those but they are scary long!

Also reading all the reviews on the smaller ones they dont stay in place :/ I'm holding out for something on that lightning deal so hopfully I'll be able to slip this in the basket :P

I wouldn’t go for a plug to start with and also a hollow one, in my experience not good. Try a sound and read Jesses advice about urethral sounding. You get a better experience with sounds rather than plugs.
