Crazy question, just a random thought popped into my head…
Do you think Silicone waterproof toys are safe to use in a hot tub, or do you think the chlorine would attack the silicone?
They should be fine but there are other considerations. You won’t be able to use water based lube as it’ll just wash off in the tub water and of course silicone lube is out of the questions as you can’t use that with any silicone toys and it may also affect the hot tub filters.
Add the fact that unlike using toys in the bath or shower, despite filters and chemicals, hot tub water tends to be less ‘clean’ than your mains supply, so there’s the added risk of either infection or irritation if using toys internally. It’s why many swingers clubs have a rule of no penetrative sex in on-site hot tubs.
