OH and I are contemplating getting the Advent calendar, has anyone purchased one before? Is it worth the money? We have plenty of toys at home and don’t want to double up on items if possible, but the thrill of opening multiple surprises every day sounds exciting. Thanks all!!

We had one of them this year. When you have a number of toys you’re inevitably going to get some duplicates, and/or things you probably wouldn’t otherwise buy.
It’s part of getting one. Still had loads of fun though!
Whether it’s worth it is a personal question only you can really make an assessment on. For us? It was worth it, but your preferences and circumstances etc are likely to be different to ours.
