What are you guilty of hoarding?

SQWEEEEEE!!!!

Piggies are the BEST!

Cat treats!, my moggy is basically stocked for the next 20 years!

Baby stuff for a while but i've finally let them go knowing we won't be having anymore which was heartbreaking bags shoes oh and plushies love cuddly toys also many consoles and games retro and new ![](upload://ez5kOkpKXRZOxjavAURYmQxVTau.gif)

EVERYTHING! I have a huge hoarding problem.

I know it's a psychological thing and it's something I picked up from my mum - she was brought up very poor and in a make-do-and-mend situation. Then we ended up living in the middle of nowhere.

Both these together made a huge mess of hoarding non-food items in case of poverty again and hoarding food/household items from the autumn on in case of being snowed in. I'm not much better now - I still have a fear of being homeless and penniless. I'm not well off, or even comfortable by many standards, so I get a great deal of comfort from the stuff I already have gathered and hung on to over the years.

It's taught me to budget, though, and when I do have a bit of disposable, I am happy to spend it on LH. I've had a bit of an odd life and learned a bit of sexual happiness is good for the soul.

I've actually had a good clear-out (as good as they can get in my case) this year, but I still have a long way to go.

I'm very minimalistic myself. Can't stand clutter in the slightest, so I don't hoard anything. Coincidentally, I filled up five bags worth of unwanted bedroom possessions yesterday and now my drawers are mostly empty. It's like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. ![](upload://lJMrTcqgi5lI1FOpb07OYOcv2YF.gif)

It was books in the pasts but the clutter has reduced since kindles came out. It did take me along time to adjust but just like having a rabbit would never go back or do without.

Clothes.

I wouldn't say I was big buyer of clothes, but I used to buy good quality, which seem to last me ages, and because they were in such igood condition I wouldn't throw them away. However when we moved to Spain I throw out all my white shirts, loads off! and a lot more.

And now if I buy anything I must throw something away.

Really miss my Wiggies πŸ˜”

Everything, but I don't consider it hoarding and bad. I just refuse to throw away things that are still working, or could still be of use. I think the throw-away mentality is one of the biggest problems of western societies.

I am very guilty of having too many earrings. My only excuse is that the oldest ones I got when I was 15 ![](upload://kym5tZ5EfyJxs6TKHB1Q2HtGSpK.gif) So its collection of the last 16 years, which makes the 50+ pairs look less bad... ![](upload://l9s9e23YKLHpoOzgGVeUkhZGcEr.gif)
