The Chicago Fire fanfic I started writing last June (that was supposed to be a one shot) has hit over 100,000 words 
38 chapters posted, plus two short one shot accompanying fics. The next 3 chapters are already written plus some plot bunny bits I’ll get in down the line.
It’s making me remember why I used to enjoy writing
