What to do with worn lingerie..

When I buy new underwear I love it, the fresh feeling of something new and the excitement of surprising my OH with something he's not seen before. But it ends there. Once I've worn/used it once I don't feel sexy in it again. I'm sure the OH still appreciates it but I don't get the same excitement and so unfortunately I have so much stuff lying around that I really don't want to waste.

Does anyone else get this sometimes? Anyone have opinions on your OH wearing the same set/piece of sexy underwear again?

Every man I've been with who's cared about such things had favourites that were based on memories of what happened when I wore something. One would even say things like "These are sexier. But you were wearing the other pair the first time you wore stockings for me...." Maybe it's just the kind of men I tend to get involved with, but for them at least 'tried and true' has benefits.

Seriously? Thats a big surprise to me, as I just lurve a lady in lingerie, so I guess I just try and take it all in!

Such a shame really. Lingerie can be very beautiful and sexy. There's something hot about not having quite everything on show, and leaving a little to the imagination.

Thanks for mentioning men in their teens and twenties, makes me feel old! I guess I'm part of last generations lingerie lovers!

I have an absurd amount of lingerie - vintage stockings, corsets, bra sets, corselettes, girdles and more from fetish modelling and burlesque performance. Not one chap I've dated has been into them, so I've started selling a lot of it off. No point in keeping what isn't appreciated.

I think lingerie appreciation is a lot more niche amongst men now in their late teens and twenties. I suppose when you're bombarded with nudity throughout your adolescence, the mystique of panties and bras is somewhat under appreciated. After all, you can go to a burlesque night and see women prancing around in pints with the mrs in most cities and quite a lot of towns in the UK now. I've not known anyone get turned on by watching a burlesque act either, come to think of it.

That's such a shame! I definitely think you have a point with the younger men thing though. My OH being in his 20s has been constantly surrounded by pornographic images and its just acceptable now so when he sees me in lingerie and to striptease/just keep it on for a while. It definitely is more of a turn on then just stripping straight down.

I too have the problem with party dresses. It's an expensive habit which I do feel like I'm wasting the dresses on, But dresses worn once can go on eBay so it's no such a problem there :)

i have a thing about giving men my worn underwear guess its a bit of a kink of mine, just love the idea of him sniffing and touching my old undies.

As a poor student I have little option, just wash them and wear them again. He doesn't seem to mind.

This brings back memories of looking at all the underwear in the Debenhams catalogue when i was younger hehe! Then the internet destroyed my innocence >.<

I love to unwrap my "presents" so lingerie is better than nude for me.

I'm a sex worker (as well as just a normal run-of-the-mill slut) so there's always someone who hasn't seen each set before :P But my husband doesn't seem to mind if I wear the same stuff a lot - new things are exciting but we have lots of old favourites too :) I definitely hoard lingerie, I don't get rid unless it's stained/torn or I'm really REALLY sick of it. When it starts to get a little battered it gets demoted from work/sexytimes to just being worn under clothes if it's comfy enough.

I've worn a few lingerie outfits a few times and I don't think it registered that I'd worn it before - either that or he just given didn't give a damn!!!!!

He was interested in what I was wearing under my clothes, especailly when he realised it was stockings - then I think his mind went blank LOL

Also I have favourites - I think it's the sheer fact that I've made the effort to dress up!

Unfortuneatly, I don't have enough money to never wear an outfit again

i get frustrated when my OH doesn't wear sexy lingerie again. I only get to see them once! then i have to over compliment her , having already done so at the time, on how good she looked to get another glimpse.

my old trunks and briefs end up as rags for dusting and cleaning though.

I second Hella. My partner does not seem to notice and last time I tried he even tore it, as he was in too much hast to bother removing it slowly. Oh well. I resigned

Is it really bad that the first thing that came into my head was sell it on ebay?

xGGx

i am aware of woman who sell their used and unwashed underware on the internet.... not my thing but a good money spinner...

just a thought

Luckily, my partner notices my efforts in the lingerie department plus I love wearing it.

If you don't like it anymore, I spose you could make it into a cushion or a door stopper.

If you break up from your partner, you could make it into a little voodoo doll.

Haha voodoo doll, not sure he would approve but definitely one for thought ;) haha

Hmmm maybe I'll wear one for the second time sometime soon and see if his reaction is as good as the first time, road test whether he notices or not ;) haha

I usually get excited before I put it on whilst it's still on the hanger. I think it looks much more intriguing then. it's when I put it on that it doesn't feel or look right. I love lingerie but I get the feeling nothing looks right on me, although my oh would probably diasgree.

xx

If u want to get rid of ur lingerie u could always sell it clean on ebay or have some fun with it & sell it on ebanned at ebanned.net
