Hi, I've used clitoral vibrators in the past and I do need and enjoy a very intense vibration. However, here's the problem.
Despite numerous trips to the doctors and ongoing hospital visits, I experience intense burning pain during penetration. One of the only ways to make this bearable enough for sex is to be clitorally stimulated during. However bullets and my wonderful LH goldfinger toy are uncomfortable, bulky and frankly too big to fit comfortably between us during sex without being dislodged/lots of pain getting through. Neither of us are terribly skinny, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for small, well-fitting, yet strong vibrators that can stimulate the clitoris while in missionary position.
Also, has the option of an STD/I been completely ruled out by the doctors? It seems really harsh on your body for there to an intense burning pain.. I haven't really come across that symptom for just painful penetration.
Does your body tense up just before or during penetration itself? Maybe some pelvic exercises might help? I'd suggest a lot of foreplay to help prepare your body for the act itself.
I am a little nervous about how he'd feel about a cock ring and I know it's silly, but I worry about...I dunno, it getting stuck or something, though it is something I want to try eventually, just gotta work up the nerve. Ha, maybe it'll spice things up.
They've ruled out STD's, which we pretty much assumed it wasn't anyway, since we're each other's only partner and we were virgins when we met XD
But I finally got a minor breakthrough at the hospital (my doctor assumed it was tensing too, which was frustrating as I felt like I was trying everything including exercise and breathing). I got the cotton-bud test and the doctor says it's like my vagina is hyper-sensitive. He gave me a steroid cream to try, which hasn't really worked, but because it's NHS I have to wait a few months.
some of the vibrating cock rings are made of a stretchy jelly material, and the vibrations can be felt, we have have used the durex ones which you only used once, if your oh puts it on once he is erect it shouldn't feel tight and if he keep the vibrator on the top of the penis it should sit against you.

Thanks for the advice. Though I've been using solo-sexy toys for many years due to singledom and long distance relationships, I'm really pretty clueless about couples toys. ^_^ Gonna talk to my OH tonight and see if we can fund some experimentation :P
I agree with boobaloo. There are some really nice stretchy and even jelly like ones.
I recieved this in one of the random grab bags: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=18812 It felt sooo nice to touch. If you have a look at the reviews and also a quick glance at the material you should come to a conclusion on the restrictive side of it.
The one I linked doesn't vibrate but has a bead and jelly nodules that feel really good against the clioris.

Hi, I'm so sorry to hear you're experiencing such a troublesome issue :( I'm glad to hear you've had some recent success in working out what the issue is.
My very first thought when reading about your experience was that perhaps you're not using lubricant, or not a suitable one. Since you've seen doctors about the issue this very possibly was ruled out, but it's always best to check the obvious things first. Do you use liberal amounts of lubricant? If so, what kind? Have you tried various types, and have you particularly looked into something like Sliquid, that is free of nasty chemical ingredients that may give reactions? Do you use condoms? If so, have you tried changing types and brands? Tried changing any birth control medicine you might be using? I've had a few friends who have experienced the 'intense burning pain' issue and every time it has been either lack of lubricant, reactions to lubricant or reactions to the condom used (spermicidal types always being the worst of the bunch). I imagine the doctors have covered these issues but like I said, it's always good to double-check :)
Have you thought about using some kind of stimulating balm or gel on your clitoris? I've never used these myself, but I wonder if something like Flower Power Body Balm Orgasm Enhancer (http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=506) might stimulate your clitoris enough to satisfy the stimulation requirement.
You might want to look into something like a strap-on vibrator (http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=20443 - though I can't vouch for this one as I've never tried it, but this is the concept). I have a Layaspot which was advertised as intercourse-friendly, but my partner and I are both very skinny so it tends to mash against our pelvic bones during use, someone with a little more meat or muscle might have better luck. Do look into the 'toys for couples' section for other intercourse-friendly sex toys. I think your issue is important enough that's it's worth investing the money in experimenting what works best for you (and trying new toys is always fun!).
I do hope you're able to work this out soon :) Good luck!
There is the We-Vibe, which is intended to be used during sex, it sits on your clitoris and G-spot. I dont know if it would be a good thing for you or not - I like a good stretch but having this and my partner's cock inside me was a little too much even for me. It also depends on what the source of this burning sensation is from - if it's from stretching too much then this may not help, but on the flip side, if clitoral stimulation helps you enjoy sex, having that AND the same on your G-spot might help it be more pleasurable.

Sorry for the delay! Didn't check the post in a while XD
Thanks for the suggestions. The doctor did cover all of these with me and we ruled them out one by one. I've tried using lubricant, though quite candidly, I don't really need it. ;) We don't use condoms as we were both virgins when we met and have no other partners.
