Erotica 2009

Hmmmm thinking about going, but tickets cost £126.50 for the full weekend plus the party. then i need to find a hotel etc. but sooooooooo tempting!!

is anyone else going? if so then try to convince me that the price is irrelevant!!! x

I wish we could but - and sadly this probably isnt going to help your price concerns - we cant afford it. To clarify that point though, we are students and are only just making ends meet as is :\

But I really really want to go one year!

i would like to go but i dont think my mister would be up for it :( and i wouldnt want to go without him as it seems to be a nice coupley thing to do or to go with your girls but my mates are all a bit vanilla and so no point in asking them :(

if i could go, id only go for one day, as i used to go to the big hairdressing thing they do once a year there and its totaly true you only need to go for one day as everything is always the same, nothing new every day. and even though its big you can do it all in a day.

Dxx

Where is this then....I've not heard of anything like this before

I'd love to go with my boyfriend, but it's just too far away for me to go to, since getting there and staying there adds even more onto the cost. I'd really love to go, it would be like being kids in a sweet shop for me and my boyfriend, but alas, it was not meant to be. If I had the money I'd go, and would advise anyone else to do the same. How can a massive room full of sex toys be bad?

Ooh, never heard of this. Are toys particularly cheap there, what's the main draw? Sounds like a fun excuse to head over to London.

If people are selling stuff then they usually have some sort of exhibition exclusive offers, although many of the ones (not sex related) I have been to usually give out random stuff like lanyards or vouchers to use in the actual shops/online. I think the main advantage of going is that you can get a hands on with the products before you decide to buy them, so even if you don't buy anything you could save money on avoiding crap stuff later on.

I'd be tempted to go since I know someone near by who I could stay with, it would be difficult to explain it though if I came back with countless bags of free sex gear =P

I remember after 3 days of it last year, I knew every single song that they played over the PA and what order it would be played in.... I can now not listen to The Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up" without wanting to get stabby!

Hehe... Will you end up in the local papers?

A young lady was arrested today on suspicion of assault following an altercation at a leading sex toy exhibition. Witnesses said it the lady became agitated during Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up" and began throwing mockcocks at the loudspeakers, mistakenly hitting a scantily clad model in the nose. She reportedly sobbed “make it stop, make it stop” before security could finally escort her from the exhibition hall.

Some headlines from the national papers:
The Sun-
Cor Blimy! Bird throws her cocks around!
The Daily Mail -
Feminists are fighting back! The truth - SEX and VIOLENCE.
Daily Star -
Smack A bitch up
The Times -
Women commits assault with a sex toy.

Maybe she was hungry Poppy?

Thanks for the info Carla! That's definitely on my holiday plans for next year hehe :D
