I have a problem of finishing the race before it begins so to speak but when I have had a few drinks I can seem to go on for a while, sometimes too long when I can't cum. The good thing about drunk sex is both people drop their gurads and maybe try stuff they normally would not, the bad side is if you've had a little too much you can't remember it all or remember anything at all. I had the best sex of my life on Saturday night after couple of drinks, my OH had a bit more to drink and can't remember that much (her loss really). Anyone else have the same experience when having sex after drinking?
Not really. Yes, drinking does drop any inhibitions and makes me feel more like "Yehhh lets try THAT" the downside, which effectively ruins the whole thing is feeling numb. I don't think I have ever orgasmed, or even got close, while drunk and all that shaking about makes me want to throw up when drunk lol
Nah I prefer it sober, luckily I have very little sexual inhibitions when I am sober anyway. lol

I agree with Lou22 not a fan of drunken sex ether. It just doesn't feel right to me.
It does help guys last longer, but personally, I think this is down to the same thing I experience, numbness. I don't particularly call it good sex if my partner managed to penetrate me for an hour but only because he wasn't feeling much and was having to work hard at it just to push himself slightly closer and having the beer sweats and the beer breath and hoping he doesnt throw up on me...hmmm nah!

I have noticed that "stamina" and lasting longer seems to be a bigger preoccupation inside the male mind. I seem to remember reading the average guy can last about 3 minutes. Of course, I assume this means from starting sex, to reaching the point of orgasm. I know a lot of guys slow down or stop to make it last longer for their ladies. I haven't been with a guy who didn't get close pretty fast, I think its just about learning to hold it. Still, I am an evil woman, I will wait til hes close and squeeze my muscles bahahaha. I think that when drunk people do all kinds of things that they would not dream of when sober. So when it comes to sex it can lead to better sex, PROVIDED that each of you are drunk enough for inhibitions to drop but not SO drunk that the ability to perform and gain enjoyment is reduced. It's a very fine line, and very difficult to achieve, get it wrong and all the bad things that Mandi lists can spoil what should be an enjoyable act. I think her way of doing things is much more sensible.

Absolutely! This is a very serious aspect, It is so easy for someone to say they were raped whether or not they remember what happened, Simply because they can blame it on alcohol.
I don't drink, so I don't know and I don't enjoy the sex so much if OH is drunk. I've found, especially lately, that open communication is vital as a couple and there's nothing you could do drunk that you shouldn't be able to do sober if you have an open and adventurous relationship.
Theres also lots of thinks I would never try drunk just because I think it's important to be able to trust your partner and much as I love my hubby, he definitely becomes less sharp and able to judge after a drink.

Drunk sex is not my idea of fun. A glass of wine might be nice, but never drunk. He does last longer but no more than a couple of drinks. Drunken fumblings are rarely good.

I am much more confident and not necessarily adventurous, but way more playful when drunk, but neither I nor my partner can orgasm as I feel numb and he can't keep it hard. Also I think its harder to judge a limit, for example my OH likes to be teased by me biting his neck, but when drunk i sometimes overdo it and bite too hard :( So its fun to be playful but I much prefer sober sex when you can feel everything and know the limits.

I don't think this thread is insinuating that people ONLY get drunk for sex, or even get drunk that often. I havent been drunk since new year and before that, I can't even remember. But why shouldn't people get drunk and have sex if they want too? Okay, so as this thread points out, it might not always be good sex, or the best decision but neither is the kebab on the way home lol. Come on, people occasionally get drunk and have sex and discover its shit, and still do it again. Its just....part of life.

Neither of us are really fans of drunken sex. I get totally desensitized and he sometimes cant cum for ages. It sounds like a great idea on the way home and we're up for anything but when we get home its never as good in execution or we end up getting too tired and dont bother.
