Whilst dreams can be weird, they get a whole lot stranger if you wake up during one but can't tell. Once I was camping and had a dream that I was walking through some woods trying to get somewhere. Eventually the trees got thicker and there were bushes in the way so I tryed to crawl through them, but soon they were just a solid wall of twigs. And then it started getting darker until I couldn't see anything so I started feeling around me to trying and figure out what was there, but I could feel a plasticy, nylon material everywhere. Because it was raining we put loads of twigs in the end of the tent outside of the inner so that they would be dry and we could make a fire in the morning, so those were the impenatrable bush (oo-er) that I got stuck at.
Generally it was a weird night.
I do things like this all the time - I wake up, but I'm still half asleep and convinced I need to do something - I rarely remember what though!
Recently I had this very strong need to get out of bed and to make an excuse to get out of bed, so I grabbed the water bottle that I always keep by me, got out of bed, put it on my desk, then realised I was being an idiot and got back into bed.
I've also had the need to take my curtains down and only realised half way through tugging them from the wall and the need to check there weren't bugs flying above my head by switching on the light.
I'm a weird dreamer.

I get the 'turning on the light' one far too often. In fact the night before last I turned my beside lamp on because there were little head crabs crawling around my pillow and I didn't have a crowbar or gravity gun to hand.

I have all kinds of weird dreams that I won't share for fear of being sectioned. However common themes in the more normal dreams are toilets with glass doors or doors that are too small & teeth falling out or crumbling. I think I dream these things more often if I'm stressed, and I wake up feeling a bit traumatised.
Occasionally I have dreams where I'm floating or swimming effortlessly through the air - they're very cool & I wake up feeling as though all is good in the world.
I also get the awake dreams where I wake up, start getting ready to work, get to the bathroom, start to brush my teeth then look in the mirror and realise my eyes are shut, I wake up, start getting ready to work, get to the bathroom, start to brush my teeth then look in the mirror and realise my eyes are shut, ad infinitum.
When I eventually really wake up I have to go check and it's only then I realised how daft it is to look in the mirror to check if your eyes are open...
Yes, these are my "normal" dreams...
Yea i have the floating ones too and flying they are great can actually feel it happening and also wake up feeling good toThe ones that make me laugh/cringe are when i'm naked from the waist down on my way to work on public transport they are strange and no one realizes i'm half naked either only me ???

I get the "I'm in a big meeting in the boardroom the realised I'm partially undressed" dream - I reckon that it's a nerves thing - I get it before interviews, presentations and the like...

My issue is - we have a loft bed, so to turn the light on, I have to climb down a rather tall (over 5ft5 at least - i.e. taller than me) ladder and cross the often booby trapped (with high heels, books, clothes, washing basket etc.) bedroom.
The worst dream I ever had - I was "at the end of the earth" where there was a gap in the crust with like floating pieces of crust in the gap. Me, my dad, and for some reason my uncle (who I see about once a year :S) were jumping (for some reason) from piece to piece when I saw my dad fall off the edge of one...I sat bolt upright and woke up so I don't know what happened next but it was so realistic and it scared me that much that I always remember it as the worst dream ever!

i hate those ones cos you wake up really with a start and your day is kind of fucked up for a while and you feel so tired/drained

In those situations, I wake up about 10 times a night convinced I've missed my alarm.

I talk in my sleep, reaslise I've said something stupid, apologise and go back to sleep!
Have also woken myself up moaning in my sleep not sure if it was real noise or dream noise and hoped that noone heard me.
There was one time me and my brother dreamed the exact same thing - well I can only assume it was a dream. We were sharing a room on holiday, both half awake/half asleep and saw/heard someone come into the room and leave again.
It was really early and my parents assured us it wasn't them so unless the cleaners decided to check if someone was in at 6am I can only think it must have been a dream.

I very rarely have raunchy dreams so i dont have anything to discuss in relation to that im afraid!
Since i was very young however ive always had the same 3 dreams pop up from time to time...
My teddy bear from the day i was born (i still have it) falls down the stairs in slow motion. This always wakes me with a jump.
That im being chased through a wooded area by a man with a knife, i try to scream but there is no sound and then i trip over, i turn to look at the man but then i always wake up with a jump.
The third is very quirky indeed. Its night and im in my old house with my parents and i draw back the curtain in my bedroom to see ostriches (yes odd i know) jumping from the roof tops holding brown cloth sacks and then i wake up.
More recently ive had a fair few dreams about zombies but i think thats to do with resident evil preview adverts etc late at night x
D o you know i watch porn late at night quite often but never get a horny dream afetr it ..but watch a scary or strange film and i do get some weird dreams then
