What shoud I do? I woke up this morning to see that a package had arrived with my name on it. I opened it up and it was a whip. It didn't say Lovehoney anywhere on the package and I was still half-asleep, so I stupidly left it on my sister's bed. She came home from work to see it and then gave it back to me, saying it wasn't hers. I freaked out and checked my email, and sure enough, there was one from LH about how i was going to recieve a whip to review. My sister then asked for an explanation, so I breifly explained how LH's review system works, without mentioning them. When I said 'I bought something from them, then reviewed it' (my toys) she wanted to know what. I showed her my douche and said I got it for 'tummy troubles'. Phew, that part was over. But anyway, my family is VERY vanilla, and now I am scared they will find my toys or something. (My sister is extremely nosy.) I also need to cancel the product review system, lest I get anymore packages. I feel like just saying flat out that I bought and own vibrators and such, but I don't want to be judged or looked down upon, or even worse, religion being bought into the subject. Any help or advice on this situation would be greatly appreciated!!
would your family really mind you having toys?

sorry sounds really nosey, but i'm 18 and i know a few friends who live at home but can't have toys because of parents
to be honest all i can suggest is getting a lockable toybox to keep nosy parkers out!
couldn't you maybe just talk to your sister and tell her that you have certain private things? and she coul keep quiet and not let anyone know,

Oh dear! That's really unfortunate :/ I remember my brother's gf left a butt plug in the bathroom once, which could have been really bad if we were of the more traditional family bent. Me being nice I just left it on my bro's bed.
Anyway! Firstly make sure your toys are very well hidden in case your sister does go nosing about! You covered well with the douche story, what you can say is that you ordered something else from the site (look up a medical site so you can name it if needs be!) and a whip came :) Shock! A whip! Oh my! You were so shocked, you thought it was a dream, so you left it on the bed and went off to shower, then when you came back, it was still there?! Crazy! So you can tlel them you're going to contact the site, tell them of the error and request the correct product (em, lube? The anal douche was a bit difficult to get in, y'see...), and sending back the whip. Which you're not actually going to do, but it sounds like a good cover :)

I'm 18 as well, but I'm living at home because its more convenient. The thing is, I don't understand my sister at all. One time, I was looking on her computer for something and I found yaoi (gay, boys love manga) and it was pretty graphic, even for me. So I don't understand why she won't just come clean and admit that she is or was into that. When I was telling her about the whip, I asked her what she thought of it first, and she just said 'nothing'.
As for my family, they would kill me if they knew I had toys, watched porn or even masturbated. In our culture and religion, it is like beyond forbidden. And yet, I don't feel as if it's anything wrong.
Should I keep reviewing things for Lovehoney? If I check my email everyday I can catch the 'we're going to send you stuff' email and wake up early or whatever to protect the package from prying eyes.
You are so lucky though. I really wish my family were more accepting. I'll try to buy a box as soon as I can, but I don't even want to leave my room for a second in case my sister comes noseying around and finds things I don't want her to see.
ok, posted this on another thread but might help u, if u have draws in your bedroom take the bottom draw out and place your toys on a towel under there, they might open the draw but will not take it right out
it seems silly that your sister is obviously into something but seems to judge you for a whip ( by the way a whip you lucky girl!)
i would honestly say as long as you make sure to check your email you should keep reviewing things, who wants to turn down free sextoys! but if your family would judge you or look down on you, you will have to make sure to check them and get up early to get your toys! that way you can have the best of both worlds

not to sure what to say, but for now to hide the stuff you already have, do you have a suitcase with a lock on? if so stick it all in there and lock it shut and put the keys on your keyring so she cant open it.
by the sound of things your sister is either around the same age as you or a bit older and so shouldnt be snooping around your stuff, im sure she wouldnt like it if you did it to her and im sure she has got stuff in her room that she doesnt want you or your family to find.

Well i would definatly like to beable to say no or could i choose another date, but if that means no testers for me then that is just the way it will need to be.
well thats how its normaly done as they need the reviews back asap you also dont normaly know what your getting till it arrives unless its pills ect so maybe you should talk to a LH peep or remove your details for being sent testers as you might end up with something turning up that you dont like or not when you want it to.
