if you can put up with that sid e to swinging you will meet genuine people
we still enjoy the fun

Agree entirely, a lot of timewasters out there. Me and my wife have swung a few times with couples, mostly as she is bi and trying to find single women is nigh on impossible! Have tried fabswingers a couple of times and while it is one of the better sites we've found it falls into three catagories, over the top pushy people who want to say hi then have sex instantly or are constantly swinging (we only partake occasionally), people who are really nice but quite often make excuses at the last minute and a few nutters/timewasters. Also had someone who we're pretty sure was trying to get photos to sell to porn sites! It's not easy to find genuine, non pushy people who just want a nice night of sex!
I get lots of couples wanting me to join them for sex, but when I ask to bring my OH they say they just want a girl. I'm not keen to go to someone's house alone as I'd feel too vulnerable. And I want my OH there too 😁
We used to be on a swingers website but came off a few years ago. I have a few friends now who swap partners, I think I'd be more comfortable doing that as I know and trust them. It nearly happened a while back but the other girl in the party got too drunk and threw up!! Kinda killed the atmosphere!
In 5 years of swinging, I've never had to experience timewasters, but I guess it depends on your definition of a timewaster.
To me, it's someone who cancels the very last minute, or doesn't show up to a meet. Yes I've had one or two cancel or rearange, but I had plenty of notice, so none of my time has been wasted. I also have a good sense of those single guys who pretend are females or couples and I follow my gut instinct. Always worked for me.
Meeting in clubs is great because if the said person/s don't turn up, there is a club full of people you can chat to and perhaps invite to a room.

What's wrong with constant swingers? I used to go out 3 times a week and mostly it was to socialise and make friends first and foremost.
Where I am in the North West, there are loads of single ladies. On some club night, we overwhelm the single guys, some events have 20 ladies.

Trying to keep within the rules here but are there clubs in the NW you'd recommend for me and the OH? I've looked at some that look lovely inside but in not so great locations and I'm bothered about issues when we leave lateFab have a good directory of clubs with ratings. Nothing wrong with constant swingers, my wife has an illness that makes her tired a lot so we only swing occassionally. We just seem to attract people who want to swing often which we can't always do and some people get in a huff over it. :)
Both myself and the OH are looking into going to chameleons, looking to soft swap to begin with and take it from there. Has anyone been or recommend a great place in the west?

Atlantis isn't as set up as the Attic is, but I suppose it's the scene that most people go for
We are queued up for xtasia on Saturday and have seen good reports, we did look at chameleons Darlaston, but it's quite expensive first time, especially if you aren't sure about going again, and it's a sauna club, so towels or naked etc.
So xtasia looks the better option, just hope there's actually a swinging scene, else it's 3/3 waste of time.
I will say the people and staff at both places have been amazing though.
My ex-wife went with a friend and had no idea it was a swingers club till she got there. Being niave she got undressed and got into the pool naked with her friend who started with some other guy straight away. My wife sat their very uncomfortably being propositioned once or twice which give her dues she declined.
She ended up getting drunk and calling me to pick her up.
But the clubs stick to their code of conduct well "no means no" and that’s that.
